This freshly painted, bright home is close to the pool in a quiet gated community with several swimming pools.The Pools are never busy and offer shade and comfortable lounge chairs. The community is on a lake and has boat docks and fishing on site. There are many excellent golf courses close by, and many good ones with low fees. The DIsney theme parks are 45 away. Snowbirds enjoy the exercise machines, card games, movies, and pot lucks in the winter. Kids enjoy the playground, kiddie pool, swimming pools and basketball court.
This two bedroom home has a queen bed in the master bedroom, twin beds in the second bedroom and a pull out couch in the living room with a flat screen TV with cable. There is a telephone and wireless internet. The unit is well appointed, clean, and well cared for.
The home is 45 minutes (27 miles) to the Disney Parks, far enough away that you can have some quiet down town and enjoy all that Central Florida has to offer.

Year Purchased: 2005
My brother Tony and I are working hard to keep this place looking good and to have it rented some of the time, until we are ready to retire. Being Canadians we love the sun, but not the long Canadian Winters. We are hoping to make it a home away from home and are adding to it each time we are in Florida.
Why the Owner Chose Lake Marion Resort
There is so much to do in Florida, and the ocean is only an hour from the house. The shopping is wonderful. There are so many little towns, to visit. There are more theme parks than we will ever have a chance to visit. Our grandchildren love to come to visit Disney. The shopping in Florida is some of the best it the world. We love it here.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
There are two wonderful swimming pools, and they are never busy. There are tennis courts, golf is so close and a great variety of courses. The shopping if the best anywhere. There is a lake on the property we walk to, and some guests take boats out fishing. The amusement parts are 45 minutes away, so we are close enough to go for the day, but we are far enough away to be a part of the real Florida, see the wild life, and live much like we do in Canada.
