Get ready for Ormond Beach, your vacation destination for Rest and Relaxation! It's been ours for 9 years now. We have enjoyed many incredible sunrises and the tranquility of the sparkling moonlit waves, watched dolphins play in the ocean by day and walk the pedestrian only secluded beach searching for shells, crabs and starfish.
This is our home away from home and has all the comforts any vacationer would need for both the young and the old. There is a library of books and videos for both children and adults, beach chairs and umbrellas, pool and beach toys, boogie boards, and the list goes on.
As a person who enjoys cooking, our kitchen is stocked with everything necessary to create a gourmet meal. I don't want to worry about forgetting to bring something to cook with and neither should you. If it's great restaurants you're looking for... you're in luck from upscale dining to the tiny beach house where the locals go.
Ormond beach is a great "Homebase" for sightseeing in Florida. In less than 30 minutes to the north is the oldest city in Florida, St Augustine, with such things as the lighthouse, Alligator Zoological Park, Fort Matanzas, Scenic Cruises, Wax Museum, Ripley's Believe it or not and more. Also, Marineland is a small scale Sea World with shows and exhibits. Daytona is 12 miles south and offers a mecca of tourist attractions with Live Theater, Nascar experiences, and Adventure Landing water park and much more. Orlando tourist attractions are just 45 miles away. To the south is the Kennedy Space Center and the Famous Ron Jon Surf Shop. As you can see there is plenty to see and do on the east coast of Florida!

Why the Owner Chose Ormond Beach
At the time when we purchased this condo we lived in Atlanta, GA and were "Land Locked" as my husband said. He loves to ride the waves and fish, while I enjoy the sound of the surf, it's my favorite lullaby. The location is perfect. If it's tourist crowds and action you're looking for, they're only a few minutes drive. We personally like the feeling of having our own private beach paradise. Ormond Beach is the best kept secret on the east coast of Florida.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Our condo has all the comforts of my own home. I don't ever find myself saying, "I wish I had that here." It has it all. I'm a morning person and enjoy the peacefulness of the morning sun with a cup of coffee and a stroll on the beach. A nice benefit too is the pool is on the west side of the building and gets full sun until it sets. Others we looked at had the pool on the east side which becomes shaded after noon. Just before dusk, we like to take the elevators to the 5th floor and enjoy the sunset over the intercoastal waterway for a spectacular sight!

We are a family of four that love the beach! Whether it's reading a book, catching a wave, surf fishing, long strolls down the beach or just relaxing in the sun then it's the place for you too. We have lived in 7 different states across the US and the Atlantic coast is our beach of choice. I am a dental hygienist and my husband is a national accounts manager for a Michelin company. So when we are not busy with work or taking our daughter to gymnastics and soccer and our son to karate and baseball, then we are at the beach. Life's a Beach!
