Why the Owner Chose Sisters
I fell in love with this property the minute I drove through the private gate that leads to this custom built home. I had been looking for a private but accessible retreat for years and the Bend/Sisters area is where I settled. There is great access via the Redmond airport (15 minutes away) so it's very easy to get here from anywhere on the west coast and enjoy all that Central Oregon has to offer. The quaint western town of Sisters is very close and has great restaurants, a theatre, gym/spa, and lot's of shopping. It's also home to the famous Sisters Rodeo, Sisters Quilt Show, and Folk Festival. If you are an outdoorsman, this is your paradise with world class fly fishing on the Metolius and Deschutes rivers literally minutes away and endless hunting grounds throughout Central Oregon. I've hosted fly fishing outings here with friends many times. There are also many miles of mountain bike and horseback trails literally all over the Sisters area including right off my property.

Space, endless views, close to everything, and a home that I like to describe as "dialed in" because it has everything you need and it's all top notch. If you choose to stay here for your holiday, I am confident that you will leave relaxed and rejuvenated.
Fly fishing this section of the Deschutes is fantastic. You can also drive up Holmes Rd to Lower Bridge Road and fish that stretch which is also terrific.
Take Green Ridge Rd (NFD 11 Rd) off Hwy 126 and follow signs to Black Butte. This is a very good 3.5 mile hike with 900' elevation gain that rewards you with breathtaking views of the surrounding moun
Absolutely crystal clear river full of huge trout! Great sight fishing but you better be able to cast because they spook easy. Stop at The Fly Fisherman shop in Sisters to get some good local advice b

While I love working and running my investment business, I really look forward to every chance I get to enjoy this property whether it's for a day or two or a few weeks. Central Oregon is just magical and I instantly relax when I get here. I enjoy flying (I'm a pilot), fly fishing, skiing, and riding motorcycles. My four son's call this "the ranch" and it truly is a place with world class outdoor activity and friendly people who have become my close friends.
