Located near the southern end of Seven Mile Beach, Tamarind Bay overlooks one of the finest beaches in the world and the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean.
Our condo (Unit 5) is beach-front ground-floor. This is ideal not only for adults looking to relax with the best ocean views around, but also for families with the kid-friendly swimming pool and sandy beach literally steps away. The bedrooms are spacious and bright, with stunning ocean views from both the master bedroom and the second bedroom. The large 3rd bedroom comfortably sleeps 4 in new queen beds. High-speed WiFi internet access allows you to stay connected with home as you relax in paradise.
Tamarind Bay is ideally located, just minutes from the airport and the center of George Town. Nearby restaurants and stores are within walking distance, as is the SMB office for Andy's Rent-A-Car if you want to head off and explore the island. World-class snorkeling is available right outside the door. For even more convenience, all water sports activities - such as jet-skis, parasailing, water-skiing, etc - are available next door at the Marriott. When it's time to unwind, you can relax on a lounge chair on the beach or escape from the sun under a beach umbrella. If it gets too hot, cool off in the sea or in our freshwater pool. We have beach-front barbeque facilities and you can cook outside as you watch a magnificent Cayman sunset.
Our property manager is on-site and will greet you upon your arrival and be available for you during your stay. We're sure this will be the best vacation experience you'll ever have.

We were two families...4 adults and 4 children. The condo was the perfect size for us! It was clean and neat. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed although we didn't cook all that much. It was absolutely amazing to have such a spectacular view to wake up to each morning! The pool was awesome and the kids had the best time snorkeling right out front of the condo. We would recommend renting a car for ease of running around and touring the island. Brian was super helpful with all of the questions we had and Kathy, the property manager was great! She made sure we had everything we needed.
Recommended for:Families with young children.

We rented the condo for the week of 8/20/11-8/26/11. We came to Cayman over 15 years ago for an anniversary trip and always wanted to come back so we did and brought the whole family...plus the wife and boyfriend...total of 6. The vacation was pretty close to being perfect. The condo was very clean, very comfortable and very beautiful. Loved having the pool and ocean front right out of our back door. Really loved the screen porch and we spent a lot of time out there. We did rent a car and I would recommend doing that. We went somewhere different to snorkle every day. The best place was next to the Governor's mansion. Saw lots of great fish and a stingray. Everyone should take and excursion to Stingray City. That was our favorite part...we were in a small group of 11...that was great...Our trip was with Natures Way...highly recommend this group...we paid 30 bucks (USA) each. I am going to recommend this condo to all of our friends, for the price it was perfect! Oh yeah, bring lots of money, the grocery store and restaurants are VERY expensive.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We came to Cayman for our Christmas present to each other. There were 7 adults and 2 kids. Even with that many, we never felt overly cramped. We had a blast there! The kids and grandma really enjoyed the pool and making sand castles on the beach out front. The condo was gorgeous and well-appointed. We loved the cayman-style decorations. We enjoyed diving with Mark at Absolute Divers. We also had fun snorkeling and just relaxing. The kitchen had all the utensils necessary to cook whatever you wanted. We didn't really end up cooking anything though. :D The maids were great and always took care of us. The little washer and dryer were much appreciated as well. Thanks guys! Job well done. We may have to book another vacation soon. Can't Wait!

If you think the pictures of this place look amazing, wait until you get there - it is even MORE amazing in person. This condo did not disappoint in any way - daily maid service was even included, which came as a pleasant surprise to us. We walked the length of Seven Mile Beach more than once, and never saw a place that we would have rather been in - the proximity to the pool & the GORGEOUS stretch of beach right in front of Tamarind Bay made this an excellent home base for our vacation. There were six adults in our group (three generations of family) and we never felt crowded. We were told the owners had been down the week before we got there, and there was brand new patio furniture on the screened in porch, which made for a great place to kick back and read in the afternoon. Satellite television & lots of games (the condo has a big selection!) around the big dining room table made what little family time we spent indoors enjoyable as well. Snorkeling right in front of the condo is great. If you're a diver, take the bus to either Divetech location for amazing & super-cheap shore-diving - you won't be disappointed. Blue Water Beach for parasailing, they have the yellow boats - it was well worth it. Kirk's grocery store to the south is only about 3/4 mile (no matter what the info book says), walk there and take the bus back - has everything your home town grocery store would have. We look forward to a return trip in 2012 :)

This condo was absolutely perfect and the views of the ocean and beach were incredible. Everything was very nice and clean and you had all the conforts of home. This place was amazing! To be able to wake up with a view of the ocean from the bedroom was incredibly peaceful. It has the best of all worlds as it has an ocean view from the living room, dining room and bedrooms. The pool is also beside the bedroom and screened porch. A touring guide is located within walking distance as well as a bus stop that will take you to the heart of the city. Not only is it a perfect view, but also has convienient access to all of the attractions the island has to offer. I plan on staying here again and would recomend it to anyone who loves paradise and sunshine.

Everything about this condo was perfect. From the layout to the view to the pool and beach.Everything is nice and clean and the service is great. I would and have highly recommended this rental to many friends and family. We plan on returning to the Caymans soon and will not choose to stay anywhere but here.
