This house was exactly as advertised. It is beautifully decorated with nice furniture and lots of accessessories. The house was spotless when we arrived and the owner's housekeeper provided cleaning service at mid-week. Our three-generation family had plenty of room to spread out. We each had our own bedroom and private bathroom. The great room was our gathering place. We kept a roaring fire going in the fireplace. We would definitely consider returning for another stay in this beautiful house.
Owner response:I am so touched by your unsolicited review..It makes me feel good.

After a busy year my family needed an escape so we chose Santa Fe. We stayed at this property once before for two nights during the balloon festival and we new this would be the house to free our minds. On the outside, the property is the kind of territorial style house that gets you in that Santa Fe mood. Like all the houses in the neighborhood they're a healthy distance apart so you're never going to get awakened by a noisy neighbor. When we got close to the house the air had that classic smokey New Mexico scent which helps you get in the mood. The house is gorgeous, classic Santa Fe with scenic views, really comfortable beds in every room, great fireplaces and an awesome kitchen for cooking. We went down to whole foods after getting settled and got all our Thansgiving essentials and made a terrific meal. For the "connected" traveller like my father in law that gets anxious when he's "off the grid" all rooms have cable TV and high speed wireless Internet. The only caveat is make sure you have a cell phone with Verizon service because AT&T and Tmobile didn't work due to the remoteness. As mentioned I had stayed here once before and returned and I will always keep it in my list of comfortable get aways and could see returning year after year.

We all wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at 24 Greythorn. The house and area surpassed our expectations. Fortunately the winter weather was crisp and in the high 40’s, ideal for long walks in your neighborhood and strolls up Canyon Road. Your careful attention to detail and comfortable décor made the house a welcome place for our family gathering. Thank you for making this special place available to us. The home truly won our hearts and we are looking forward a return visit later this year.

We stayed a week a really enjoyed the house. The house was very clean and the landscaping was perfect with desert flowering plants. The decor of the house is as good as the pictures appear. Each room is decorated in Santa Fe style . Master bedroon was very large with comfortable bedding and a large flat screen TV. Adjacent study had leather couches and a flat screen TV also. A large kitchen, dining room, plates, silverware, and cooking pans allowed us to cook some meals at the house rather than going out for all the meals. The patios and patio furniture on the east and west sides of the house provided us with the opportunity to enjoy the cool mornings and evenings. Because of the large lots in the area we were able to unwind from our normal urban living. Owner had helpful maps and brochures on Santa Fe at the house. When going out to eat, we recommend The Shed, Cafe Pasquals, Mucho Gusto, and Chocolate Maven. We definitely recommend the house to friends and relatives.

We spent a wonderful Memorial Day extra-long weekend at this fabulous house in Las Campanas, just outside of Santa Fe. The house is in a beautiful setting, surrounded by desert with a view of the mountains. It has a gorgeous patio which is just perfect at sunset, and the lanai captures the morning sun and is a great spot for breakfast. There were 7 of us - 4 adults and 3 children. The house is beautifully furnished with some lovely features, including fireplaces and high timber ceilings, and decorative pieces and artwork. The beds were super-comfortable. We would all go back there in a flash!
