We moved to San Carlos in November of 2000 from Calgary, Alberta. We have found the community of San Carlos an extremely wonderful place to live and work.
Why the Owner Chose San Carlos
We purchased Vista del Mar Apartments for several reasons. The most important of which is the location. Although they have been a part of the fabric of San Carlos for thirty years and were in need of a renovation, (which we completed in 2006) these apartments were well laid out and had a great potential to become outstanding units.
The Unique Benefits of this Apartment
Whatever the hobby - there is always something to do and someone to do it with in San Carlos. Vista del Mar is well located to enjoy all water oriented hobbies with access to the beach and the marina. However, there is much more to do in San Carlos than just water related activities. Those who spend their winters here have found that the community supports all manner of volunteer work that includes a number of fun activities as well as the performing arts and fine arts. Vista del Mar apartments are within a mile of the golf course, hiking, biking and an outstanding new fitness facility.

We spent January and February/2011 at the Vista del Mar apartments. They are in a great location for walks on the beach and exploring the village. We were close to plenty of great eating and shopping all within easy walking distance. The weather was warm enough most days with cooler evenings.The accomadations are well maintained although there were a few issues with internet service but the owners were very quick to resolve any problems we experienced. We felt very safe and would recommend this area for you to visit. We enjoyed making new friends with the other residents in the building and look forward to seeing them all again next year.
Recommended for:Pet owners, age 55+.
