We loved the location. The weather was perfect. The house is good but could be GREAT. Wonderful screened-in porch. The house was noisy, sounds bounced off the walls and floors. More rugs would help. The mattress on the double bed was sagging & on the trundle felt like only a box spring. Kitchen was tiny, difficult to cook a regular meal. Shower downstairs needs new grout & caulk. Stairs up to the viewing deck were very steep but the view was worth it. Just have drinks downstairs. The tv is difficult for all to see. Perhaps removing the cabinet and adding a flat screen would solve that problem. I would recommend this property and include the above observations. Thank you.
Owner response:Stephanie, Thank you so much for your review. We are constantly striving to provide a wonderful vacation rental experience for our guests. We have since replaced these mattresses. Thank you for your additional comments (re: TV placement), we will take them under advisement as well. The kitchen, while small, is well equip with all the cooking utensils you could need/want and there is a large dining table perfect for entertaining. We hope you'll stay with us again. Thanks, Mark

We had a wonderful time in Seaside. Fantasia is great for families. We loved the rooftop deck, it gave us a front-row seat for the 4th of July Fireworks! Though the bedrooms are small, the beds are very comfortable, and there is plenty of bedroom closet space. The house is somewhat sparsely furnished and equipped, but that was OK, since we spent most of our time at the beach, pool or shopping. Loved the availability of an outdoor grill.

This was our second trip to Seaside and staying at the same house. It is a great location for families. A short walk to the beach and park with a pool is a plus. The town center with shopping, food and activities is also wonderful! Highly recommended!

The location is nearly perfect: close to the beach, the Seaside green/amphitheater and near the large 'adult' pool. The house itself isn't terribly large, but has a few excellent features that boost the cozy square-footage. The screened-in front porch is fantastic location for morning coffee and just hanging out. And the views/sunsets from the top deck are exquisite. As some other reviews noted, sound does travel throughout the house, and the kitchen is a bit tight, but neither of those hurt our stay. It is impossible to travel to Seaside, stay at Fantasia and NOT relax...

We had a wonderful stay in late April of 2011. I liked the outdoor shower, though I locked myself outside. The bedrooms on floor two are small, but more than adequate. The tower was perfect for a drink and snacks. We spent a lot of time there. The first floor works amazingly well. It was a very comfortable space for four adults.

Our family had a wonderful visit to Fantasia. The location is superb and house is charming and well setup for a beach vacation. We love the screened porch and the views from the tower at sunset.

We found Seaside to be absolutely amazing, and such a great place to vacation. Fantasia was nice for our first time to stay in Seaside. The rooftop deck was the best part of the house. We were up there in the morning for coffee and the evening for wine and stars. Fantasia is a very open house, and you can hear any noise from the TV to people at the dinner table- all the way to the upper floors. The rooms were on the small side, as well as the kitchen which also had no pantry space. The place was clean, but could use some work- there was a leak in the ceiling (which wet the top of the second floors stairs) when we had a heavy rain storm. Overall, for our first time in Seaside, we had a great time; and enjoyed the house and being with each other.

This house deserves all the attention it has received. Quite comfortable and spacious. Quick walk to everything: the beach, the coffee shop, restaurants, bars! Cozy house! We spent more time on the tower than anywhere else, overlooking the gulf and the rest of Seaside by day, and staring at stars by night. Will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed staying in this house! The rooftop deck has an awesome view, and we enjoyed drinking our morning coffee up there. The living area is wonderful, nice and roomy. Bedrooms are on the small side, but we didn't spend much time there anyway. I would highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time here. My daughter loved the pink twin bedroom and my son was happy in the double with the more boyish red bedspread. The sleeping spaces are on the small side, but the only time we spent there was while sleeping. The rest of the house is very comfortable. The tower has lovely views of Seaside, and will be best enjoyed by families agile enough to get up and down the ladders. There were plenty of spots to relax in the living room. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed. A great location, about halfway between the beach and the pool. We parked the car on day 1 and never moved it, using our bikes to get everything we needed in Seaside. We loved it!

We loved Fantasia.. it was close to everything.. Spacious enough for three children to play and the views from the 4th floor tower are magical. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks.

Fantasia was a wonderful house for our family. The trundle bed was very handy, and the space was very enjoyable. We had friends staying in the same area, so I was exposed to several other houses. While we enjoyed Fantasia very much, I believe the other houses we visited provided a bit more living space and better kitchens for the same price.

Seaside is the jewel of the Emerald Coast and the hub for activities along Scenic Route 30A. Fantasia is one of the icons of Seaside and a great place to experience the small-town ambiance of this resort town. Highlights are the tower room overlooking the beach and the proximity to the Tupelo Pavilion and the beach. You won't be disappointed.

We had a wonderful Christmas in Seaside and at Fantasia. Have stayed in many, many houses in Seaside and loved this one. So cozy and the whole family loved the rooftop deck. Would love to stay there again.

My family and I had a FABULOUS time at Fantasia in Seaside. We felt very safe letting our children ride bikes around the quaint little streets and into town. We drank our coffee on the balcony every morning and watched the town wake up. Every night, we had dinner on the balcony and watched the sunset. Thank you for providing such a special place for our family to unwind and reconnect. It was perfect!!!

Very nice stay! It was a bright, happy house. My kids; 9,7,7 and 2 loved the lookout and all the neat features of the house. It was kind of scary with the 2 year old, with all the stairs. All in all we had a great time!

My family of 4 plus 2 teenage friends have stayed in this adorable 3 bedroom cottage for our last 3 visits. We love the location in Seaside, peaceful with an easy walk to the beach and village. The house is very well designed with a comfortable interior. In fact, two of the kids bought air mattresses and made a play area and hange-out space on the 3rd level. The best feature is the 4th floor tower, it's the place to have a cocktail and take in the town and Gulf views which have beautiful sun-sets. We would absolutely love to stay at Fantasia on our next visit to Seaside.

My family, friends and I have stayed at this wonderful home on 3 occasions over the past 5 years and have enjoyed it immensely! Whether taking in the view of Seaside and the Gulf of Mexico from atop the widow's walk, listening to the rain on the metal roof of the screen porch, watching the kids explore it's many levels and fun spaces, enjoying a hot outdoor shower on cool autumn day, or relaxing with friends playing cards in the family room, there is always a new and fun way to experience this "Fantastic" home. I highly recommend it!
