Starting April 20, 2011 our cabin has been rented long term with a lease of 6 months. We apologize to all of our repeat guest and hope you find another spot close by and love as much as you love this place. Have a great/safe spring/summer in the forest... Pisgah Forest Cabin #1 is a brand new two bedroom w/loft log home that is beautifully furnished and sits on 9 private acres off Lambs Creek Rd. and is surrounded by Pisgah National Forest. Just minutes from Historic Downtown Brevard, Hendersonville, and Asheville where you will find The Biltmore House. The decendants of George Vanderbuilt have recently restored some of the family's private guest rooms to their magnificent splendor and they are now open to the public for viewing.

Brevard is the Land of the Water Falls and it only takes a few minuets to get to one of the most beautiful and most photographed ones in the area, Looking Glass. Then another few miles into the forest is Sliding Rock, a great place to spend a hot summer afternoon sliding into cool pools of crystal clear mountain river water. This cabin is located just 2 miles from the entrance to Pisgah Forest and less than one half hour drive to the Parkway making this cabin an ideal location for day trips to explore a wide range of sites. Spring will be here soon and the forest comes alive with wildlife and blooming wildflowers. This area is criss-crossed with hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails ranging from beginner to expert.

The cabin and fire pit area is surrounded by the forest and the wildlife come into the area often to feed. From inside the cabin it's a great display of nature.
