  This house was exactly what we hoped for and everything looks exactly as described and shown in the pictures on this page. Arranging our stay with the very friendly and helpful owner Nina was a breeze compared to what I had to go through with other inquiries that eventually were turned down by call-center employees insisting on 'company rules'. It's so much easier to rent directly from the owner. Everybody in our party of 5 adults was excited about the property, how spacious, modern and unique it is. As somebody mentioned in an earlier review, it is far from the sterile environment of the typical rental property. Also, the privacy you get from the surrounding trees is well worth the short walk to the beach which wasn't inconvenient at all. We had a great time in a very unique setting. Thank you Nina, we hope to be back soon.

  Absolutely wonderful experience. Home met all expectations. We loved the location in the quiet community of Dune Allen. The location on 30A near all amenities was a real plus.......Destin, outlet mall, Publix markets (2). We walked to the beach daily, except when we took the two small children, and then we had to load up the SUV, but that was better than being right on the beach. We look forward to returning and plan on bringing field glasses for all of the birds around the pond and house.

  The Treehouse in Santa Rosa Beach is the perfect vacation respite. This April was our second visit--- a return after two years of missing the magic of a place designed with the details of beauty, comfort, and serenity. We have vacationed many years in the Destin area of Florida---but must say this is our favorite spot to land. Our family, including our dog--- loves all 3 enchanting levels of living space, wonderful kitchen and oh so beautiful deck with grill and patio furniture. It is --- a place to rejuvenate and replenish. Bedrooms and bathrooms are exquisite--- and most of all, from the minute you enter this home, you feel peace. It's pure magic.

  This house was beautiful. My four children had plenty of space and the beds were very comfortable! The location was great and close to the beach and cute restaurants. Beach access was very convenient- just a short drive in the car of a minute or less. We had an enjoyable time.

  Very comfortable, beautiful house...has all the amenities one needs. The location was fine - just a short 1/4 mile walk to the beach. There is a little hill to walk over so those who have any problems walking should know to take their car ... the very quiet beach access has about 6 parking spaces and has a hose/shower. Owner was very kind, helpful, easy and friendly.

  Wow! This house is so comfortable, spacious and the ultimate in renter friendly. A great location for catching up and visiting with family and friends. AND the beach area- well, there just aren't words to describe the feeling of peace you get relaxing on the gorgeous private beach area near the house. If you are looking to relax, then this is the rental house for you. Away from the hustle and bustle of Destin, this stretch of 30-A is my new found love. Walk to Stinky's Fish Camp from the house for dinner. We've been to Stinky's twice in one week both times we have recently vacationed in this area. It's that good! We also enjoyed being very near the village of Seaside and it's restaurants and shopping. Don't miss the Red Bar either. We enjoyed cooking breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen each morning and coming in from the beach for lunch for a quick bite. The house has plenty of room for everyone to spread out and visit or retreat to a private area and read a book or nap in the hammock. The bath and shower areas are luxurious and also a nice retreat for a book as well. We enjoyed seeing the tree frogs on the expansive decks that surround the home. It was also nice to have a glass of wine out on one of the porch swings and reminisce about our day. We will definitely be back! Thanks Nina for being such a gracious host.

  We had a wonderful time the week we stayed in this tastefully decorated home. What we enjoyed best about this home is that it wasn't such a sterile environment. We got to experience the character of this home and its family. We found ourselves asking, "What would others say about us if they lived for a week in our home?" You will enjoy the home, its location, the beaches and the variety throughout the house. Thanks Nina!

  We had a fabulous time at the Treehouse, and were truly sad to leave. We loved the home from the minute we drove up thru the tall pines and ponds to view this towering Treehouse with 3 wrap around decks! The front of the home faces a quiet neighborhood street and the back of the home faces, but set way back from 30 A (other side from Gulf). We enjoyed all the beautiful details- the granite rock kitchen counters, the marble, granite, and glass bathrooms, the many windows letting all the natural light in, the wrap around porches, the lush vegitation, etc. We enjoyed eating at the Lake House one night and the Beach Club for lunch one day, other than that we enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen most of the time! Surrounded by beauty and nature- this place is a true escape! The beach is about 3 short blocks away. We enjoyed biking there daily and parked bikes by the Stallworth gated community access. There is parking for cars there as well, but you must park in designated areas. Also, there are specific hours for walking dogs on the beach so be sure to check- when we were there dogs were allowed on beach only from 6 pm - 8 am Beautiful beaches and long walks in front of the protected Stallworth dune area. Thank you for opening up your beautiful home. We look forward to returning some day!

  our family thoroughly enjoyed a visit to this beautiful beachouse aug. 6-11 . nestled amidst sky-high pines and incredible florida foliage it immediately imparts a soothing sense of peace . we were even more enchanted with the thoughtful detail that went into the building and decorating of this unique treehouse ! after a day in the sun and surf everyone looked foward to gathering on the rear deck (one of many) to savor some good conversation and magical moongazing . our hostess was very gracious , making sure that we gained our bearings and suggesting some yummy dining destinations . our extended family who were renting around the corner joined us for dinner and ooohhhed & aaahhed over the house as well ! we all give the entire experience a unanimous thumbs up and are looking foward to our next visit to this charming area and jewel of a beachouse .
