New (3 years old) modern custom beach house on stilts. Very short(2 blocks)walk to beach. If you like uncrowded living and beaches, this is for you. 3 story house surrounded by trees. Turn right on the beach and you will enter the Topsail Preserve State Park--no houses, no crowds. Wrap around decks on all levels, situated on a pond with frogs, lily pads and tons of birds. All cork and tile floors (no carpet yuckiness! great for those with allergies).
First floor is a great room that includes kitchen, living area with large HD TV with Wii attached, dining area, pantry and half bath. Recycled glass tile back splash and fireplace surround (eco-friendly fire burner). River rock granite countertops and tables. Exit out back to a deck surrounded by trees and over the water. Cook meals in the well-equipt kitchen with herbs you cut from the deck herb garden.
Second floor are two rooms, one with a King and one with a Queen, both with their own exits to the covered wrap-around deck. Recycled glass tile in bathrooms as well as a rain shower and oversized tub in one. Oversized washer and dryer also separate on second floor. Third floor is huge master with a King and a Full. Master bath has separate glass shower and oversized tub all served by Solar hot water (electric backup of course). Port-a- crib in closet. Double sinks undermounted in recycled marble. Step out on the private deck and you are surrounded by 50 foot native long leaf pines, look through the trees and you will catch a glimpse of the Gulf of Mexico and maybe see our resident red-headed woodpeckers, blue jays, cardinals, finches and the occasional snowy egret or great blue heron.
Take your dogs to run on the beach with a permit!!

Why the Owner Chose Dune Allen Beach
Best beaches in the country, but Destin and Panama City are TOO crowded. 30A is a little slice of heaven, with height restrictions that make for much lower density, you are not tripping on people at the beach. Locals know that mid September to mid November is the best time of year.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Kayak, swim, snorkel, surf, walk and collect shells and driftwood.
One of the rare, costal dune lakes found in only two areas in the world.
Most popular restaurants on 30A, try the cajun bbq shrimp--YUM, also next door is The Lake Place, a little more fancy AMAZING fresh, local seafood. Walk there, the parking lot fills up early.
Restaurant is open to the public, overlooking the water, excellent food. Longer walk, short drive.
Great Boutique shopping and dining across from Ed Walliene Park (picnic area, showers beach access). Also a pharmacy and beach rentals (kayaks, surfboards, bikes, etc.)
