Charming one bedroom apartment on beach, many interesting attractions nearby, situated on Hutchinson Island with it's miles of unspoiled beaches, watch turtles nesting in the season, about 1 1/2 hours from Palm Beach, Orlando, Cape Kennedy space station, Daytona Beach and Sebring.A washer and dryer are available on the same floor as the apartment and the owners live on the property and are available to give you local information
Local: Hutchinson Island is approximately 20 miles long with very little development and many deserted beaches. The surf fishing is excellent all along the island and turtles come ashore in the season to lay their eggs. Fishing is also good on the bay side of the island and on the local jetty which is about a 10 minute walk.

Very clean, very comfortable, with most things you could need for a beach holiday. Bedroom large, lots of storage space, bathroom small but adequate, lounge bright and comfortable Owners on site and a mine of information. Easy to find. No actual sea-view because of the sand-dunes, but 5 steps up onto the walkover and you can see for miles, with hardly anyone else in sight. On edge of small 'village' with supermarket/petrol station/bar and eateries/marine life centre, very quiet. Fort Pierce (over the bridge) has bigger shops, library, theatre, small interesting museums, marina etc. Easy to get to Kennedy space centre, Orlando, Lake Okeechobee etc. Locally, lots of places for just sitting, watching the world go by. We would recommend this for anyone seeking a peaceful, soul-restoring stay near the sea.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.
