Why the Owner Chose Bisbee
I've had vacation homes in this town for 25 years and love it because of it history, weather and physical beauty. The town is nestled in a valley of the Mule mountains. It's a liberal oasis in a generally conservative area I wanted to design and build a new home and now its completed.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Biking, hiking, birding. Hanging out in local restaurants and bars. Enjoy the artist galleries Bisbee is the friendliest of towns with active social scene.

It was wonderful for three of us with pets. The house is perfectly laid-out, centered on the east-facing patio that opens to both bedrooms and the living room and receives the morning sun as it climbs over the mountains. The bedrooms are in each wing, sheltered from the largely pedestrian street -- very quiet and private. Bathrooms are well out-fitted, with high ceilings. The kitchen looks and functions like someone actually lives there; no need to run to the store to get mustard, it is already in the fridge. Forget the car while there, everything is in walking distance. Very well done; very homey.

This is the place to stay when you visit Bisbee. The house is perfect size and the location couldn't be better. Walking distance to town good view from patio. We have stayed in several homes in Bisbee during our fourth of July vacation this is the best. I could see the house I grew up in from the patio.

Amazing new home in historic Bisbee

Let me begin when you park your car-this beautiful new home has two designated parking spots off the street, which are only a short walk up to the front door (a big plus in hilly Bisbee). The home is tastefully decorated with original artwork and comfortable furnishings. The architecture is a modern take on a miner's cabin crossed with an adobe home with a steel roof, thick, heavily insulated walls, and polished cement floors. The living space is two stories high with windows at the top for passive cooling creating a very spacious living room/dining room. Four sets of french doors allow you to open up the bedrooms and living space to the cool breezes during the monsoon. The french doors open onto a patio/courtyard with two separate seating areas-perfect for a bbq with a few friends. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the patio/courtyard providing privacy if you have guests. Both bathrooms are simple and luxurious-the master is a large open shower with polished concrete-the guest bathroom has subway tile and a combo bath/shower. There is a hot tub outside the master bathroom perfect for enjoying the evening stars. The home is well equipped with glasses, towels, linens, bottle opener, pots, pans, spices, etc-plus a TV, DVD player and Ipod/CD stereo. There is also a washer and dryer with laundry detergent. I cannot say more about this home-it is an absolute gem. I hope to be in Bisbee again next summer staying in this beautiful home.
