It is a lovely home as depicted in pictures. Thoroughly enjoyed the cool nights and the hot tub. The price was excellent for the size ot the home. The beds were comfortable and the walk in shower was great. Lovely kitchen. Really enjoyed our time there.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is a delightful place to stay - clean, beautifully designed, and comfortable - plus in a great location for walking around. Most places in Bisbee are uphill, and this is no exception, but it's a somewhat short distance, and going down to town is super easy. Just take your time coming back to the house. Great view out over rooftops to the mountains. Comfortable seating, good kitchen, and really comfortable bed. We will definitely want to stay here again. The frosting on the cake, is Cedric, himself - he is without a doubt the easiest-going host we have ever run into. A very nice fellow with a very nice place.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you so much, come again

So enjoyed our stay at this residence. The house is well built, well furnished, and well maintained. One wall consists of glass doors that open up to the patio and allowed us to enjoy the beautiful Arizona spring. The kitchen was so well appointed that we changed our minds about eating out and made good use of the local produce that was just coming into season. Bisbee itself, is charming and quirky with lots of stuff to do and see. The Owner was very professional and easy to do business with. Would highly recommend this place.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I couldn't have hoped for a nicer place. Lots of the Bisbee rentals are a bit run down but this place is perfect. The location is just off downtown but out of the way. Nice beds and a great kitchen. Great view. Plenty of parking (rare in Bisbee). Cozy outdoor area, as well. Cedric has a nice library with something for everyone, including historical books on Bisbee. There was some confusion on the arrival date but Cedric had everything worked out within minutes. One of my best VRBO. experiences.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Dear Chet, Thank you for your kind comments. Even though you arrived on the 23rd February when your correspondence said the 24th I was glad to be able to find you one nights accommodation at a friends house. Cedric

We loved our accommodations! Very clean, very comfortable, very convenient. The owner was easy to communicate with and gave helpful tips. We walked down to the main part of town by a different route every time- great exploring and five minutes' walk. Too cool for the patio but we did use the fireplace. We highly recommend this property- just don't book when we want to ; ).Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This is a beautiful house to rent. The split floor plan affords privacy for couples. It was freezing while we were down there so the fireplace was very much enjoyed (as was the hot tub). The beds were comfortable and cozy. The views were great from both inside and outside of the house and the location was very convenient. Highly recommended!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

In the heart of Bisbee and near the heart of Southeast Arizona my husband and I launched several adventures and returned every evening to the comfort of this charming, Arizona-style house. Not only did we explore the surrounding landscape, we successfully navigated the small kitchen to cook up a Thanksgiving dinner that created memorable moments. Romantic evenings were spent on the patio enjoying the desert air (we're currently living in Humid Houston) while sipping wine. It was surprisingly quiet considering the location. We traveled with our dog and she quickly learned the property boundaries of this unfenced yard. She enjoyed the patio as much as we did and we thank VRBO owners for allowing the opportunity to travel to many of their properties. This is ideal for travelers who want to explore on foot, but be aware that Bisbee is a steep city with narrow winding streets and thousands (literally) of stair steps. It was clean, comfortable, stylish with a lot of IKEA and World Market products - it provided design ideas for our future southwest house. This is just steps away from the downtown area and within sniffing distance of the Bisbee Coffee Company (they roast beans daily). We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will recommend this property to any friends traveling to the Bisbee area.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway.

Highly recommended! We have just returned from a long weekend spent in this home in the heart of Bisbee and couldn’t have been happier. A great location that really is just a few minutes walk from downtown. It’s a newer construction that keeps the flavor of the area but provides all the welcome modern amenities. The layout is ideal for entertaining and/or having multiple couples staying together. Each of the two master bedrooms are at the extreme ends of the house which provides real privacy. The best part is the central patio/terrace that the home is built around. The entire living room opens up, via multiple bi-fold doors, to the patio which very effectively brings the outside in. In addition, both bedrooms also open up, via large French doors, to the same patio, and the combined effect makes for a very airy and open feel. You can spend hours just relaxing and watching the world go by while seamlessly moving between the inside and outside spaces. Fantastic! My favorite place in Bisbee and one that anyone could spend weeks in and be quite comfortable. We are looking forward to doing just that as soon as we can return to for another stay here. Thank you Cedric!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We "lived" at this wonderful home for five weeks. It's a very unique property. It's quite European and a bit Californian in style. It has two "wings", each with a light and spacious bedroom with access to the central patio. The finishes and furnishings are creatives and I love the art. The hummingbird feeder provided endless entertainment with the numerous hummers either living or migrating through the back yard.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Cedric was wonderful, and respected our privacy fully. The house has a great layout and wonderful views from the centrally located patio overlooking the town. We have already tenatively marked down dates to stay there again in Sept. and Dec. For the summer months, it would be nice to have a couple of window air conditioners just to cut through the humidity during the day.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay in Bisbee and found a little slice of heaven at this property. The house is brand new and has all of the mod-cons you would expect and some extras like a hot tub! The only thing thats missing is air-con, but seems to be something that applys to almost every property in Bisbee and the house does have lots of electric fans and coolers to use. The garden & terrace are amazing and we enjoyed breakfast in the sun watching the birds and listening to the world go by. The neighbours are really friendly and the house is a short walk from great food and shopping. We actually took a walk around the neighbourhood to check out the other properties we had considered and this by far the newest property and situated in the best location. The owner gave us some great tips and recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone considering a stay in beautiful Bisbee and if we are ever passing through again...this will be my number one choice.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Three adults and 2 good-sized dogs stayed in this very comfortable house. The photos on VRBO don't do it justice. It's spotless, beautifully furnished, new, and has large, comfortable rooms. The kitchen is well furnished, too. There is plenty of seating for both relaxing and dining, inside and out. The house has an excellent view. We enjoyed sitting out on the large patio. This newly built home is only a few minutes' walk to Historic Bisbee. The bedrooms are on the main floor and are at opposite ends of the house. Each has a separate, not-connected bathroom. The furthest has a wonderful, large shower. We were pleased and surprised by the wifi. There's also an iPod docking system. The beautiful cement floors (with lots of rugs) make it easy care. \We would absolutely highly recommend this rental house.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is our second year to enjoy a six week stay in this very special house. The morning sun quickly warms the east facing patio. Wonderful light and views from the well placed windows, comfortable furnishings and a well appointed kitchen provide a perfect vacation get away. This house is well located for quick and easy access to downtown. Landlord, is not always in the area, but is accessible through email and responds quickly. Easy to have overnight guests as the house arrangement provides privacy with the second bedroom and bath arrangement. We plan to return next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing.

My husband, our 2 dogs, and I recently spent 9 weeks at this property in Old Bisbee. Our expectations were more than adequately met. The house is very new by Bisbee standards, well designed, and quite comfortable. Lovely setting atop one of the many hills with great views all around. I especially enjoyed the kitchen which is well appointed and very functional. The only glitch came when Freeport-McMoRan decided to do their soil reclamation project, lasting for 2 weeks, while we were there. Cedric, the owner, was, however, very apologetic and accommodating during this period. He had no control over the scheduling of the work, but it did disrupt an otherwise quiet stay, and we were not able to use the patio at all during that time. My suggestions to Cedric for improving the experience would be the following: the mattress in the master bedroom should be replaced soon; the water temperature throughout the house needs to be better regulated (we took several lukewarm showers); a "house instruction" sheet should be posted somewhere. Having said that, and in spite of it not being a "perfect" visit, it was above average, and we would not hesitate to stay there again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, pet owners, sightseeing.

It was wonderful for three of us with pets. The house is perfectly laid-out, centered on the east-facing patio that opens to both bedrooms and the living room and receives the morning sun as it climbs over the mountains. The bedrooms are in each wing, sheltered from the largely pedestrian street -- very quiet and private. Bathrooms are well out-fitted, with high ceilings. The kitchen looks and functions like someone actually lives there; no need to run to the store to get mustard, it is already in the fridge. Forget the car while there, everything is in walking distance. Very well done; very homey.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We have stayed in several homes in Bisbee during our fourth of July vacation this is the best. Let me begin when you park your car-this beautiful new home has two designated parking spots off the street, which are only a short walk up to the front door (a big plus in hilly Bisbee). The home is tastefully decorated with original artwork and comfortable furnishings. The architecture is a modern take on a miner's cabin crossed with an adobe home with a steel roof, thick, heavily insulated walls, and polished cement floors. The living space is two stories high with windows at the top for passive cooling creating a very spacious living room/dining room. Four sets of french doors allow you to open up the bedrooms and living space to the cool breezes during the monsoon. The french doors open onto a patio/courtyard with two separate seating areas-perfect for a bbq with a few friends. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the patio/courtyard providing privacy if you have guests. Both bathrooms are simple and luxurious-the master is a large open shower with polished concrete-the guest bathroom has subway tile and a combo bath/shower. There is a hot tub outside the master bathroom perfect for enjoying the evening stars. The home is well equipped with glasses, towels, linens, bottle opener, pots, pans, spices, etc-plus a TV, DVD player and Ipod/CD stereo. There is also a washer and dryer with laundry detergent. I cannot say more about this home-it is an absolute gem. I hope to be in Bisbee again next summer staying in this beautiful home.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
