Bring your family and/or your boat--there is plenty of room for both. You will be minutes away from numerous boat ramps and state park/recreation facilities on beautiful and pristine Lake Russell. This comfortable and well-equipped cottage is also convenient to Lake Hartwell, Lake Thurmond, and Lake Secession. Historic Abbeville is a quick 15 minute drive or head the other direction and you are 25 minutes from downtown Anderson with wonderful shops and restaurants.
There are lots of games to play and plenty of room for the kids to run and explore outside. A flat screen TV with surround sound and DVD player are in the master bedroom. We have a small library of family and other fun movies--or bring your own favorites.
The kitchen is well equipped and all the appliances are new. No dishwasher, but who needs one when you have a view of the woods from the kitchen window. We have plenty of non breakable dishes and cups for the kids.
Phone service and internet access are not available, so bring your cell and air card if you must stay connected.

Year Purchased: 2006
We have very busy lives and love to escape to our little place near Lake Russell. We enjoy traveling, but prefer vacation rentals to hotels and we often travel with our teen daughter and dog. We've tried to make this home comfortable for both kids and the pet you cannot leave at home.
Why the Owner Chose Lowndesville
We've always wanted a little place to get away from it all and now we have it. We love the serenity of the woods and Lake Russell. We enjoy taking our small fishing boat out on the lake or renting a pontoon boat with friends. You can spend hours on the lake and not see another boat.
