  Our stay at Casa de las Palapas was truly amazing and exceeded our expectations. The vacation home is gorgeous and well maintained. The staff members were incredible. Manuel helped us with every aspect of our trip - he was able to set up numerous excursions which were fantastic. Maricela - the chef - cooked two meals a day for us, which were wonderful. We had a full house and used every guest room available - however it still felt very private and secluded. Overall - a great stay and highly recommended! We hope to return someday!

  Our group of families had a wonderful stay at Casa de Las Palapas. Staff is superb, especially Marisella who cooked us breakfast and dinner daily, to our menu selections, and graciously made accommodations for the children. The property was large and spacious with so many different outdoor areas each offering what has to be some of the most incredible views you can find in PV. The private pool was extra large and heated making for daily swims something we very much looked forward to. The beach was a 5 min walk (and one that you'd want to do holding your children's hands), but upon arrival you'd be awarded a wonderful secluded beach with chairs and umbrellas already set up (we just had to let the staff know 10 minutes ahead of time). All in all a wonderful vacation! Definitely recommend this Casa to anyone looking to treat themselves to ultimate luxury and pampering!

  This was an absolutely perfect vacation solution. From the very beginning, every aspect of the VRBO transaction was flawless, contact with the homeowner (Irma) was easy, the house was awesome, and the staff exceptional. The online description of the home was spot on and very nicely reflect the subdued elegance of the 5 master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Clean, comfortable, very reasonably priced given the on-beach location and outstanding staff. A final plus is the funicular. One of the guests had recently herniated a disc in his back and having this allowed full, complete access. We would recommend Casa de Las Palapas to anyone, and would return again without hesitation.

  This was one of the best vacations I have ever been on, mainly thanks to the ammenities and staff of Casa de las Palapas. I went at the begining of October and the weather was sunny every day but still humid, as this is the tail end of the rainy season. The villa is enormous and absolutely gorgeous with tradition Mexican decor. What really made the trip a success was the staff. Manuel, the grounds keeper will help you with ANYTHING you may need or desire. He made scheduling activities a breeze. The cook, Marciella is a miracle worker, I have been to many many Mexican restaurants in the U.S. but none compare to her dishes. We ate two meals and snack each day which cost about $23 per person per day. We had a lobster dinner one night which cost about $20 per person, what a steal! This place is great for groups big or small (ours was only 4).

  We enjoyed a fun filled, week long stay with two other couples at the Casa de las Palapas. We were awestruck the moment we walked through the double doors and saw the beauty of the villa with it's expansive ocean views. Words and pictures just do not do it justice. The five bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms and are situated in such a manner that you have complete privacy. Again, beautiful ocean views from every room. Athough we ate out at many nice restaurants, I preferred the chef, Maricela's, cooking. She just has a way with food and her sauces were excellent. The staff was very attentive and it was helpful that their English was so good. We enjoyed Manuel's presentation of Spanish coffee. Luz Maria, the maid, was stealth like in her housekeeping chores. Everything was always fresh and clean. Even though you are on the beach, the house and grounds are secure. We had fun zip lining, boating (Manuel was the captain and arranged the excursion), snorkeling, dining out and shopping. We can't wait to go back. Fabulous Vacation!

  Spent a week at this house after Christmas . What can I say , everything was perfect . The staff , food and the pool !!! We hardly left the house for a week . The way the house is spread out on the hillside you feel like it is twice as big .. We will be back !!

  We are a family of 6 that just spent a fabulous week at this gorgeous villa. The bedrooms and baths are all stunning and beautifully appointed. Views from everywhere which we enjoyed from all the different eating areas. Loved the staff, cannot say enough good things about Marisela, the chef, we shared recipes from home, and loved all her suggestions. the kids loved the pool table, i loved the music i could play everywhere on the sirius satellite system. Definitely to recommend!
