Amazing stay at the Kaanapali Alii!

Our family stayed in this beautiful unit for 2 weeks while celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. The condo exceeded our expectations ... the unit was very clean and well maintained, the grounds were beautiful with a nice sized pool, the barbecue area was fantastic and the location could not be more central in the heart of Kaanapalii. Julianne was a pleasure to deal with ... she responded quickly to any questions we had leading up to our visit and the property management team on-site was very helpful and professional. Our stay at the Kaanapalii Alii provided an excellent home base to explore Maui. We would highly reccomend this unit and hope to stay here again in the near future.

We will definitely be a repeat for your condo. It was more beautiful than the pictures reflected. It was my 25th wedding anniversary and it was truly paradise. The condo was beautiful great views of the ocean and mountains. You were so easy to work with and helped make this stay a pleasant experience. Thanks for being so helpful. Well we returned from Maui on Sunday night and can honestly say that things could not have been better at this condo. We arrived on a beautiful day to find the condo extremely clean and loaded with everything we could have needed (right down to a foamie in the closet for my son who wanted to sleep in our room!). Alii staff extremely friendly and accommodating, pool and bbq area was immaculate and the weather - well we didn't have one bad day. The owner was extremely easy to deal with and things couldn't have gone more smoothly. Can't wait to go back next year! Thanks Julianne!!

We just returned yesterday from our stay in Maui at Kaanapali Alii. Your condo was beautiful and was a perfect fit for our family. I would highly recommend this condo to family and friends. There was so much to do within walking distance for our family. I have never rented from VRBO, but my experience was great and we hope to do it again. Thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to experience Hawaii.

We just finished our stay at the condo in Maui last week and wanted to let you know that it was the perfect set up for our family. Fortunately, we just missed the excitement of the tsunami and were able to fully enjoy all the condo’s amenities and especially the beauty and adventure of the island itself. With the 10th floor view, we could watch the whales playing in the ocean early in the morning. Thanks so much for trusting in us as renters and we would be happy to recommend the unit to anyone.

Our 5 night stay in Maui, for our family of 5, turned out spectacular for many reasons including the beautiful condo here at the Kanaapali Alli. The condo is exactly as described on the website and is even more spacious than first anticipated with an actual front entrance foyer and a doorbell to the unit. A bellhop will actually meet you upon your arrival and take your luggage right to your room and give you the "lay of the land". The master bedroom is very large and even has a pull-out full size sofa in the room, in addition to the pull-out sofa in the den. The second bedroom was ideal for our 2 teenage twin daughters who preferred to close the room off to sleep in late, and with its own bathroom...need we say more? The view out to the ocean and Black Rock was amazing and most every morning we were able to view the whales swimming and spouting their water in the air! This, of course, is only during the winter/early spring months. The condo was very clean and well-maintained and had all the desirable amenities such as paper products and laundry detergents to wash bathing suits and more. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach front access and there were more than enough beach towels and lounge chairs graciously provided by the staff here. What's more, the owners of this condo even provided 5 boogie boards to use and our family used them every day in the water. The condo is situated along a boardwalk that extends the entire length of Kaanapali Beach and is only a short distance from the Whaler's Village where there are more than enough stores and restaraunts to keep you busy your entire stay. In the other direction, we were able to walk to the Hyatt Regency where they have a nightly Luau called the Drums of the Pacific, which our kids loved and included a fire dancer. We will definately recommend this condo unit to any friend or relative knowing that this unit rents for a lower price than many hotel rooms here in Maui and you get the spaciousness, cleanliness, and the many multiple amenities that exist much like in the comfort of your own home but in the paradise that exists like no place else...Maui, Hawaii!

We enjoyed staying in your Kaanapali palace. It was perfect in every way! Beuatifully decorated, comfortable and perfect location. The view was breathtaking and the condo was exactly like the video and photos on the vacation rentals by owner website. It was well stocked with the essentials. The unit was wonderful and definitely nicer than others we've stayed in (at the Kaanapali Alii). We like the new bathrooms, the updated lighting, the nice big flat screen televisions, the new sinks, the new countertops, the new cabinets, the resurfaced tennis courts, the new pool areas, view of those incredible pools, ponds and waterfalls, and the best section of the terrific beach. We'll definitely keep you in mind on our next trip to Maui. I also gave your name/info to a colleague at work who is interested in renting from you.

June 2010 Pros/things well done: Very well maintained property-(room as well as grounds etc.). Everything works. Pictures are exactly what you get to experience. Very comfortable beds. Second room in converted "closet" VERY ROOMY and spacious and does qualify as a room. Up-to-date Bathrooms and Kitchens; had more than enough towels to last entire stay for four adults. Lots of storage space available. Lanai with good views of beach, Black rock etc. Nice gentle breeze most times. Check-in and check-out very convenient and came across very friendly and helpful staff throughout stay. PERFECT LOCATION on Kanaapali beach; 2 minute walk to Whaler's village and 7 min. walk to Black rock. Well stocked kitchen utensils and misc. spices etc. Free car parking, covered. Used Farmer's market further up North Hwy 31 within 10 min drive. Cons/areas for improvement of experience: Listing stated Internet broadband is available but did not specify anywhere that you have to pay extra for using it each time! Also no wifi. Bummer. Would recommend to owner to keep a small orientation pamphlet in room re: all features/location of things in rooms etc. and a shoe rack near the entrance to keep slippers and shoes organized would be very useful. Those waterfalls that you see in the pics on the adjacent Westin property are beautiful to look at but are LOUD and ON most of the time, nearly drowning out ocean wave sounds most days and evenings. Beach chairs were removed by Alii staff well before sunset time, limiting full enjoyment of sunsets. Finally, did not come across any facility for recycling anything anywhere on property! Let's get with the times Aliii!!! Overall: Recommend this property and would definitely stay again, but would be aware of lack of internet in quoted price and lack of wifi in rooms.
