Our unique beautiful beachfront villa has a large pool with a spacious outdoor terrace and an overlook tower with spectacular views of the ocean and our own private sandy beach. The villa's main floor has a large living/dining/kitchen area. There are two queen sized bedrooms on this floor, each with their own private bath. The separate lower living area has a king size bedroom with a private bath and a twin bedroom with it's own private bath. All of the bedrooms have A/C.

Price includes; full maid service, a caretaker/maintenance person, a security guard, all within a secure walled compound. A private chef is available for an additional $50 (US) a day, plus the cost of food. There is 24/7 electricity.

The villa is minutes from Cabarete, and 20 minutes from the Puerto Plata airport. The villa is east of Cabarete, near the Parasio Tropical Hotel (formerly the Sea Grape Hotel). Cabarete has several grocery stores, and a wide variety of restaurants and bars.

  • My wife and I stayed at the Harty villa in October 2009. It was a pure delight. The place is private, secure and conveniently located. Great for walks on the beach, hitting the nightlife, or just chilling out. The pool is to die for. We would definitely go again.

  • Having never been to the Dominican Republic I had no idea what to expect. I loved staying in this villa. The very large beautiful swimming pool and easy access to the beach are a big plus. Very private, although conveniently located to town and activities. I highly recommend that you stay here.

  • Last May, three Amegos (the girlfriends) met for a week’s vacation at the Harty Villa, with the thought of relaxing and catching up. Mission accomplished ten fold!. We found the local people to be beautiful and friendly, even with a language barrier. Fantastic beaches, great restaurants and fun beach bars! The shopping is great! The Island is noted for it’s amber and needless to say we were beside ourselves trying to decide which piece of jewelry to buy! We bought locally grown fruit from street vendors and by far the best bananas and pineapples I’ve ever tasted! There are enough American items in the supermarkets for you to find your way around but it’s more fun to be adventurous! Great Dominican cheese! We found so many great little places to eat we dined out every night and the prices were reasonable. I must have taken 300 photos of just the villa and grounds! Spectacular flowers everywhere! Go threw the garden gate and you are on the beach with white sand and the ocean is as blue as the sky. We actually spent much of our time at the villa during the day swimming and hanging out by the pool until late afternoon. Then it was time to shop, dine and party. This villa is truly a place for a group of people. It’s safe and secure with 24 hour security in a walled compound. We felt comfortable, even when we were out late in the evening. I chose to stay in one of the more private rooms on the lower level of the house and loved the wall of louvered tropical doors and cool tile bath and my own patio. I think this villa has a different feel to it than most. The moment we entered threw the gate the feeling of being in a tropical paradise floods your senses. The house has a “Hemmingway” feel about it that I loved. This is an artists paradise. Everywhere you look is a painting waiting to be painted and around every corner is a story to be told. I am truly looking forward to my next visit when I promise you I will be looking for pirates and exploring sugar and tobacco plantations!

  • I visited the villa for the first time in September 2004, and have visited 11 times more over the past five years, staying at the villa each time, never being disappointed. The location of the villa makes it close enough but far enough away from Cabarete that make my visit enjoyable. I like the people; they are friendly and enjoy the presents of tourist, offering to help in any way. Languages spoken are English, French, Italia, German, and the native Spanish. I like visiting Playa Cabarete, which is know for its wind surfing, both kite and sail. And, in staying at the villa, makes it all worth while; my own piece of paradise. The villa has 4 bedrooms with each have its own bath, making it very nice when family and friends are with you. The pool is something else, big enough to enjoy and do water exercise in. I enjoy the tower to view the beach and ocean from, take pictures, or sun bath privately. I have had both good and bad weather over my five years, but being at the villa made up for the weather. A great get away place; a place to work for those of you who want solitary; just an all around great place to stay. SC/AlexVaUSA
