WELCOME!
Our custom designed, recently renovated home brings together the rustic feel of a western log cabin with the modern, clean lines of contemporary design. Nestled on 1.1 wooded acres in the saddle of a butte in the center of the valley, our home offers superlative views of the Grand Teton and the entire Teton Range to the west, as well as rare outlooks on the Gros Ventres, Jackson Peak, Cache Peak and the town of Jackson to the east.
Your arrival begins as you approach the front door on a steel-grate entry walk that recalls the clean functionality of a tram dock while it ties together a hand-hewn log cabin with a modern addition cast in an exterior of oxidized, steel. Enter through the glass doors with glimpses of the peaks beyond, kick off your boots and warm your toes on the heated porcelain tiles under foot.
FLOOR PLAN
All 3 bedrooms are tucked into the first floor. The master bedroom, master bath and a second bedroom are located in the newly constructed modern addition while the third bedroom is in the recently renovated log-cabin ‘wing.’ The privacy afforded by this layout is well suited to many different combinations of vacationing friends and/or families.
MASTER BEDROOM & BATH
The master bedroom features a solid walnut Queen Bed with ample storage and fine linens. Enjoy the view through the floor-to-ceiling windows from your bed or step out onto your private terrace through 8’ glass sliders where you can lounge and view mule deer foraging on the hillside or the resident moose and her calf or the neighborhood foxes sauntering up the game trail at the edge of our property (don’t worry they’re all gracious hosts). All the bedrooms have dark bamboo flooring and both bathrooms have heated floor tiles. The master bath is exquisitely designed for complete relaxation in a glass enclosed soaking tub, oversized shower and steam bath to rejuvenate and cleanse after a long day enjoying the great outdoors. The toilet room is separated by a sliding door. We provide bath products.
“TETON VIEW” BEDROOM
The guest bedroom features a postcard-perfect view of the Tetons and plenty of storage space in this well-appointed room that can be accommodated with 2 Extra-Long Twin Beds or King depending on your needs.
“CACHE PEAK VIEW” BEDROOM & BATH
Wrap back around to the log side of the home and you will find the warmth of the third bedroom (Full Bed) inviting with exposed beams and oversized windows drawing in expansive mountain outlooks to the east and aspen-filtered views of the buttes to the west. A beautifully designed bathroom is adjacent to this room with a full-size glass enclosed shower. The bathroom is a perfect melding of rustic and modern design.
LIBRARY
The first floor also has a small office area and library. Here, floor to ceiling windows allow for ample light to flood this area bringing the outside, in. There is also a second terrace to take advantage of the afternoon sun. If you must work during your stay, you will find this desk a comfortable workspace, but prepare to be distracted by the views of the Grand Teton off your left shoulder. Or free your laptop from the desk entirely and use our in-house wireless broadband to inspire your work with your choice of epic views anywhere in the house or on the roof deck.
LIVING & DINING ROOM
Wind your way up to the second floor and prepare to be at home in the treetops. Here again, floor-to-ceiling windows create an abundance of natural light. Be mesmerized as you take in the awesome views of the Teton Range. In summer the morning light reveals countless hiking routes as a hot-air balloon rises up to the peaks in the placid morning air. In winter you pick your perfect line way off in the distance as your eyes dance from canyon to canyon of backcountry powder all the way to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort where you watch the tram ascend to the top of Rendezvous Bowl every 12 minutes. As your eyes become trained you’ll soon appreciate having the perfect perch to decide whether to enjoy a leisurely breakfast or dash out to immerse yourself in a bluebird day.
The open floor plan of the second floor invites conversation and intimacy as you rehash the day’s events or settle in with a good book, watch a movie or surf the Internet on our wireless connection. Other features include:
• LCD Flat Screen Television with Satellite HDTV (Dish)
• DVD/VCR Player
• Stereo System and I-Pod Dock
• DVD Library & CD Library
• Dining room table that comfortably seats 8 adults
CHEF’S KITCHEN

The kitchen features all new appliances, including: a 26 cf. double-door, stainless steel refrigerator equipped with filtered water and ice; an ultra-quiet dishwasher; five-rack oven with gas range; and a microwave. Space-saving maneuvers abound throughout the second floor: floor-to-ceiling, pull-out pantry; 2 slide-out butcher block cutting boards; deep drawers; built-in cabinets. The kitchen also features a burr-grind coffee maker, toaster, blender and a garbage disposal.

We had an AMAZING stay at this beautiful home. It was clean, well stocked and perfectly designed for enjoying Jackson. We spent a week here with our 3 children ages 15, 12 and 10. The best thing might have been the location itself. We could easily drive down the hill to attend the rodeo, go to the market or meet a rafting excursion yet when we were at the house it was perfectly quiet. We also loved that the bedrooms were on the lower level with the kitchen and living area up top. That allowed us to enjoy the views but also the kids could go down and easily get to sleep while we talked out on the deck. The kids loved the hot tub and it was great for legs sore from hiking. I can not say enough great things about this house. We just loved being here and thanks for sharing it.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

I have stayed as an overnight guest and can vouch that it was lovely. The views in all directions are stunning. You feel far away from it all yet close to all local amenities. The house feels cozy, clean and comfortable.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: My husband and I are both land management professionals (he is a forester and I am a landscape architect), and our love of the land is instilled in the home we have built. Our three young children were all born in Jackson, and we delight in the fact that this precious landscape is their birthplace. We have traveled, lived and worked all over the world, but are forever drawn to this landscape here in Jackson Hole. For five years, Twenty-Leg Ranch was our home. We hope you appreciate the love and care that went into creating this place and will want to return year after year, just as we do. Please enjoy and let us know how we can make you stay more memorable!
Why the Owner Chose Jackson:
Twenty-Leg Ranch was our home for five years while we lived and worked in Jackson. The location and home speaks for itself as to why we wanted to buy this home.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Twenty-Leg Ranch is situated in one of the most spectacular locations in Jackson because the home is nestled on the saddle of East Gros Ventre Butte and therefore allows for views in two directions; of the entire Teton Range and of the Town of Jackson, Cache Peak and Jackson Peak!! There are very few homes that give you both views. And, we are a five minute drive from the Town Square!
