DECEMBER 12-19, 2009 is a GREAT TIME TO SKI SNOWBIRD! Fantastic powder and short lift lines! The condo, located in the IRON BLOSAM LODGE, is a 2-level loft suite and adjoining bedroom on the top floor. The lower level has a living area with corner gas fireplace, TV/DVD, comfy chairs, convertible sofa/queen bed, queen wall bed, and a balcony that overlooks the ski slopes. There is a full kitchen with all the necessities, including garbage disposal, dishwasher, large refrigerator, stove/oven and microwave. A breakfast bar and high serving countertop surround the kitchen. A dining table and chairs complete the living/dining area. In the hall is a huge closet supplied with extra bedding. A storage chest, cubbies and hooks are also in the hall for storing ski gear. There is a full bath (tub/shower combo), as well as an additional vanity and bowl in a connecting dressing area which also has more drawers and a hanging rod. The loft above the living area has 2 queen beds, another TV/DVD, phone, desk, large chest, and comfy chair. Also in the upstairs hall is a large closet with extra bedding. A second full bath (just like the one below) has an additional vanity and bowl in the adjoining dressing area. The view of the Wilbere ski run from the loft is spectacular through the 2-story windows! This unit sleeps 8.
The adjoining bedroom has 2 queen beds, 2 comfy chairs, a table, desk, TV/DVD, phone, and large chest. A closet houses a bar-size refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The unit also has the third full size bath. There is another balcony that overlooks the ski slopes. This bedroom sleeps 4.
Iron Blosam Lodge has WI-FI throughout the building. There is also a Business Center with internet access, printer, and Microsoft Office.
A shared, coin-operated laundry is on the premises.
There is a wonderful game room for kids of all ages to enjoy, as well as books, games, videos, and puzzles that can be borrowed.
The famous Wildflower Restaurant is located in Iron Blosam and serves delicious Italian cuisine. The Wildflower Lounge has a casual bar menu and live music on Friday's!
Transportation to and from the Salt Lake City airport is available through "Canyon Transportation".
Two ski lockers (included) are available for use on the 2nd floor of the Lodge. You can walk across the road and ski down to Wilbere chair lift, or take the shuttle or walk to the tram building to be on the slopes in a matter of minutes!
Snowbird is world-renowned for it fantastic powder snow and Alta, nearby, is also one of our favorite family ski areas. Iron Blosam Lodge is festive with its Christmas decorations at this time, but Mother Nature supplies the best decorations of all!

My wife and I lived in Utah at the time Iron Blosam Lodge was built and it was a great time to invest in one of the first timeshares. We loved to ski and our young children were learning to ski as well. Just after buying into the resort, we moved to California, so it was even more of an advantage to have a beautiful place to stay and to enjoy the wonderful skiing available here at Snowbird. Throughout the years our children were growing up, we continued to use our timeshare. Now our children are adults with children of their own, and we all love to come back to Snowbird for a family fun-filled reunion week of skiing. Occasionally we are unable to return, so we hope you will also enjoy our lovely condominium and all the fun that Snowbird has to offer. Gere and Sally, California
Why the Owner Chose Snowbird
Originally, it was near where we lived, and timeshares were a new concept which appealed to us. Our children were learning to ski and loved to come ski at Snowbird because the ski school was so good. When we moved so far away, then it became a wonderful place to relax on vacation and enjoy our time together as a family. Now that our children are married and have children of their own, it is a great place for family reunions and will be a great place for the next generation to learn to ski!
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
There are so many outdoor adventures here. We have always loved to cross-country ski or snowshoe, as well as downhill ski. The hot tub and heated outdoor swimming pool are great for relaxing after a hard day of skiing. If you are not skiing sometime, there are many things to do at the lodge in the game room, exercise room, or just in the condo reading or resting. Salt Lake City is not far away and of course there are wonderful shopping malls for last-minute Christmas shopping, museums, the Mormon Tabernacle, etc. Salt Lake is always beautifully decorated for the Christmas holidays, as is Iron Blosam Lodge, making it a special time to vacation here. Of course, Mother Nature does the best for outdoor decorations!
