  My friends and I rented the Art Gallery Villa for the week of 2/2-2/9 and it surpassed all our expectations. Renting a place with only a few pictures to go on is a little scary and myself being the only one who had ever used VRBO had a few of my travel companions nervous about what we were going to walk into! From the beginning, everyone was very accommodating in making our vacation happen. From money transfers to getting everything squared away with our arrival. They are professional and courteous to a T. Then when we actually arrived at this beautiful villa, we were blown away with the comfort, the quality, and the service. Lucille, our Concierge was available to make any arrangements for us from excursions to taxi's to dinner reservations. She was even our "trip photographer" on one outing and we loved having her expertise. Vicki, our adorable and so friendly housekeeper (it feels an insult to call her that because she really felt apart of our family) made the most delicious breakfasts and kept the place tidy and full of smiles. Even our taxi drivers, Andre and Neil became trusted friends and gave us lots of advice and insider information about how to make the most of our vacation in Grenada. Andre even got a friend to prepare us the traditional dish "oildown" on Grenada's Independence Day! We were very sad to leave indeed, as we enjoyed the feeling of having our own home to play in "island style" A few tips: The house is on a secluded bay with Mangroves. Bring lots and lots of bug spray and itch cream. If you take the "jungle excursion" to the 7 Sisters waterfall (which are amazing) make sure you are on the athletic side. It is a true hike! Rocky, muddy, wet clay and strenuous. Wear your bathing suit under your clothes and wear non-slippery shoes that you won't mind getting dirty. Also, when Lucille asks you if you'd like to book a massage at the house after - say yes! we were all a little sore. The grocery stores in Grenada are nice. Stock up! Cabs were one of our biggest expenses, but there is no way any of us would have had the courage to drive on those windy roads. The house is private and quiet and the perfect getaway for anyone looking for something a little different.

  My wife, myself and our three teenage daughters stayed at the Art Villa for two weeks over the Christmas & New Year holidays. The villa exceeded our expectations in every way and we've rented houses throughout the Caribbean. The villa's design made the outside deck a part of the living room and the views were spectacular from each room. The quality of the accommodations, from the bedding to the appliances, did not feel like a rental property but rather borrowing someone's home. The location was quiet and serene and approximately 20 minutes to the main tourism area. We typically picked-up dinner from the roadside stands on the way home from the beach and Grenada does have one large and well-stocked grocery store, making it easy to cook or grill at the villa. Lucille was engaging, helpful, and professional both before our arrival and during our stay. Vicky made great breakfasts daily and kept the villa clean and orderly; it was a pleasure to see her each morning. We'd highly recommend a stay at the Art Villa and we look forward to a return visit soon.

  This villa is one of the nicest houses I have seen in a tropical climate. It fits perfectly into the location. It is directly on the ocean (first line, ground has direct access to the ocean but no sand beach). There is a lot of natural material that has been used to build the house (wood). It feels very comfortable, large, light, open with splendid views (the master bedroom has ocean view to three sides!) over the bay. The pool is also great . We enjoyed it already early in the morning with sun rise and the children loved to swim in it. We have been exceptionally well taken care of by the staff. Especially Concierge Lucille and Vicki (who cooked really tasty and healthy meals for us). Lucille arranged for a very nice program to discover Grenada in a relaxing way. We saw some of the nice beaches, the city, Estates for spice farming, Rum and Cocoa, nice waterfalls and many more nice places. Lucille arranged for a fixed amount taxi service which comes out to about a similar price like a car rental but with much more comfort. So if you are not an absolute car fanatic that must drive the car self use the taxi service, not to mention the priceless local information they provide on the way. Grenada is a nice island, great weather, nice and friendly people and it feels quite save. It has nice restaurants, interesting markets, nice nature for hiking and great beaches for swimming. While still maintaining its original charm. All in all we felt like home far away from home. For sure we can recommend to go there to have a beautiful relaxing vacation.

  This villa absolutely surpassed our expectations. We've been to "Luxury" villas all over the Caribbean and Europe. This one, we have to say will be at the top of our list! The luxury is the service, food, staff, people of Grenada, pool, white sand beaches and just the overall villa setting. The villa is truly an authentic Caribbean experience and the farm fresh food daily, spa, Vicki's cooking and fresh baked goodies...what a rejuvenation!

  This villa is absolutely beautiful and proved beyond our expectations from the moment we set foot inside it. The villa looks exactly like it does in the photos. In fact, photos could not possibly capture how amazing the villa FEELS -- airy, open, glamorous yet comfortable, with stunning views all around. We felt exceptionally lucky to have stayed here. Set on a quiet, private bay, the villa made us feel as if we'd found our own paradise within an island paradise. And big, warm thank you's to all the amazingly caring staff -- especially Concierge Lucille and Vicki, whose home-made nutmeg cake we will dream of for a long time to come. We have never rented a vacation home before, and certainly had never been to Grenada, but we felt thoroughly taken care of from the moment we began our booking. Grenada is a fabulous place and we feel so fortunate to have been able to experience the island from the fantastic villa and with the staff's attentive support. We rented a car for our entire stay, which was great and made it easy for us to get around the island. From hiking to various waterfalls to hitting the beaches, from snorkeling to diving (thank you Aquanauts), from the markets, local restaurants, Fish Friday in Gouyave, to cooking ourselves in the villa, there was so much to do and to enjoy. The villa was integral to our Grenada experience. It was a very special time. Thank you x

  The villa is all it looks to be in the pictures! Absolutely beautiful views from all over the back deck. The staff is top notch and really makes you feel welcome. From hiking to waterfalls in the rain forest, to snorkling over under-water sculpture parks, to just chilling on one of many gorgeous beaches, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at the villa and on the island. The services provided could not have been any better. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a true getaway!

  Dear Perry, I want you to know that I really enjoyed my visit to Grenada. Your villa was everything I thought it would be! All of the relaxation made the work worthwhile... and your wonderful, exceptional, vibrant, professional, caring, kind, considerate (need I say more!) staff made it more enjoyable than I could imagine. The level of hospitality from everyone; Lucille, Vicki, and Curt made my stay most both comfortable and memorable. When I come back, I can only hope your villa is available! Thank again! Janie
