This is a fun-filled neighborhood. The apartment is directly across from Fort Tryon Park, with majestic rock walls out your front door. The building is surrounded on 3 sides by parks, 2 blocks from the Henry Hudson River with a marina and restaurants on the water, with gorgeous views of the Palasades and the George Washington Bridge.
Just down the street, there are restaurants and bars alive with music. La Marina provides dining on the Hudson River near a sandy beach. The RING Garden, a private garden with carp is at your disposal as well as The Heather Garden in FOrt Tryon Park. Walk to everything- markets, wine shops, farmers market. Biking, bike rentals and kayaking nearby. This place has it all and a wonderful respite from the noise and congestion of downtown, yet only a 20 minute express train ride to Times Square. Go a short ride north to the Bronx Zoo, or the Botanical Gardens. Ten minutes south is the Museum of Natural History. This area is the new fun place to be.
The kitchen area has been recently updated with marble tile.

This is a really cool neighborhood. I can ride my bike to Columbia Medical Center on the bike path, and play ultimate frisbee in the parks. It's a short train ride to the Upper West Side and Midtown. The four months I lived here has been great.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
