"...just looking for a small cabin on a river or in the woods"?
Well, you've found it. This 1300 sq. ft. 1950's-style cabin is bounded on the front by 175 feet of the historic Gallatin River and the back by national forest. It's an hour south of the Bozeman airport, and is the ideal spot for a family or friends to get away, relax, fish, pop popcorn, hike or simply lounge in deck chairs overlooking the river less than 50 steps away.
Featuring an Adirondack-style exterior of fieldstone and cedar siding, the 3BR, 1 1/2 bath cabin sleeps up to 6. Upstairs you'll find 950+ sq. ft. of living space; while downstairs there is another bedroom, a half-bath, as well as a washer and dryer. There is a generous deck with chairs and benches directly off the kitchen, and a sunset-facing balcony beyond the double doors that gaze beyond the treetops to the nearby foothills. Inside you will find rugs, furniture and paintings reminiscent of a time when you had to rely on railroads and propeller-driven airplanes to get away from it all..and yet the owners didn't overlook modern conveniences when they built the place in 2001. For example, there is a 4-burner gas stove, oven, microwave and ASKO dishwasher. There's also Direct TV, DSL and a Bose CD player. Local phone service to Bozeman is also included.
So whether you want to fish, whitewater raft, see Old Faithful, ride horses or head up to the world-class runs at the Big Sky Ski Resort, the cabin is the perfect spot to enjoy and experience the special place known as Big Sky.
The cabin features:
A lower level bedroom with twin beds that can be converted to a king bed. There is also a half bath downstairs.

A cozy extra sleeping space with a twin bed.
Inflatable mattress.
Beautiful living area with open kitchen and stone fireplace (firelogs only, please)
