Wake up to stunning sunrises, soaring eagles, water & mountain vistas in this 3 bedroom/2 bath classic charmer with 50 feet of no bank waterfront. This rare beachfront cottage is the perfect summer or winter retreat. No road noise or traffic. Go boating, swimming, clamming, crabbing, or fishing right from the yard, or watch whales, deer & eagles (or winter storms) while staying cozy inside by the fire! Boat launch nearby. Very easy access (10 minutes!) to Clinton-Mukilteo ferry landing. Vaulted ceilings, skylights, multiple decks, outdoor fire-pit, gas BBQ, games, movies, puzzles.
2-night minimum (single night rate $300, except for holidays); 3-night minimum for holiday weekends; 4-night minimum for Christmas/New Year's and Easter Week. Monthly rates available.
Security deposit, cleaning fee, pet fee. No smoking residence.
Sleeps 6-10. (Additional $20/person/night charge for each person over the first 6 guests.)

Why the Owner Chose Clinton
Possession Beach at Whidbey Island is the perfect vacation spot! I consider it my home away from home. Waterfront on a tranquil part of Puget Sound with views of the snow-capped Cascade mountains in the distance. Spot whales, deer and eagles right from the house! It just doesn't get any better than this!
The Unique Benefits at this House
Very peaceful setting on the water, snow-capped Cascade mountains in the distance, watch the whales swim by and the eagles soar overhead, crabbing, fishing, clamming, kayaking... If you want to "get away from it all" it just doesn't get any better than this!

Arrived on the 4th of July, settled in, Grilled dinner, relaxed by the fire pit and watched fireworks all along the shore of the mainland. The views of the Snow capped mountains across the Sound are wonderful. A day trip to Deception Pass is well worth it. A short drive will get you Whidbey Winery and lunch at Pickles. I would recommend this Beach House to Friends and Family.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We spent some time at this comfortable beach home and really enjoyed it. From the home we watched the following across the water on the mainland: Snow covered mountains, rainbows, Sounder train, Container trains, and airplanes landing at Payne Field. On the water we watched the ferries, Container Ships, tugboats, sailboats, fishing boats, and sealions. We also saw eagles, deer, BIG snails, crabs, owls, and several friendly dogs and their people. The house was clean and comfortable. The owner was wonderful to work with. Downside: Not a good house for us Seniors. It was difficult to haul our belongings from the parking lot to the house using the metal wagon. Most of the residents used golf carts. A great rental for young families.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

The kids loved the place. It was our first time visiting Whidbey Island and it couldn’t have been better. The weather was nice and warm for spring. Kelly walked for hours up and down the shore collecting sea shells. The highlight of the trip was spotting 3 Bald Eagles flying alongside our car, they were so close it was just incredible! Your beach house was terrific. Thanks so much!

A great place to get away from it all and enjoy nature. Right on the water, great for strolling along the beach and watching wildlife. We went kayaking one night during a spectacular meteor shower, and found ourselves in the middle of a pod of whales! It was absolutely surreal. The house is open and airy, with great views from every window. I would come back in a heartbeat! (Pickles Deli in the Red Apple shopping center at the top of Cultus Bay Road has the BEST sandwiches!)
