Direct, oceanfront home with large deck that has breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean to enjoy the beautiful sunrise. Only steps away from the sand! The interior is tastefully decorated with beach decor to make your stay perfect. 4 bedroom, 3 baths. Large space under the house for a picnic and grilling. There is an outdoor shower (with warm water) to rinse off the sand from the beach! New ceramic tile and carpet, just redecorated, black granite counter tops.
Beds include two full, four queens, and one king, all large beds no twins.
It is 20 minutes from Jacksonville, Florida International Airport. It is located three miles from the Ritz Carlton. Enjoy activities on the island including fishing, horseback riding, beautiful golf courses, and shopping downtown in historic Fernandina.
Sit on the porch and watch dolphins swim by. Wonderful restaurants abound the island. The deck has a beautiful view and you can watch the children play on the beach.

Also this area has the grill to make great memories with all the dining and sitting area. Large area to have that Seafood low country boil.

- Tour beautiful Cumberland Island by boat, a trip you will never forget, beautiful wild horses. Enjoy the historical downtown area with unique shops, great dining for lunch and dinner. On Sat. morning a great fresh market area. The famous homemade fudge shop. Unique toy store. Great dining by the docks facing the smoothing water. Fresh caught local seafood market. Great for a low country shrimp boil. At the main docks you can buy fresh seafood right off the shrimp boats daily. You must visit the fresh market on Saturday mornings. My husband great grandfather built a house direct oceanfront in the 1920's this island has made lots of GREAT FAMILY memories for generations now, the house is still there. We are carrying on the tradition making great memories with our children this is a great beach laid back and very enjoyable.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
This area has the most beautiful beaches in North Fla. and is only 30 minutes from a major airport. It is a quite island abound with resturants and shopping. We custom built our home,
it is very close to the water, no dunes to cross, step off onto the sand about 30 yards
from the water.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We have always enjoyed surf fishing or going out in the boat. My son enjoys surfing.
Waking up to a beautiful sunrise over the Atlantic having coffee overlooking the ocean is
a great way to start my morning. We are exactly one mile from main beach a great daily walk.
This is a very quite area great for sitting my chair in the edge of the water reading.
This is next to heaven!

With our family split between the west & east coast this home was a perfect place we could join up together for some relaxing family time. Diane was such a pleasure to work with, always available to answer questions and she has taken such great care to make this house feel like a home, not a rental. We have rented many homes over the last several years and this home is one of the best. Thanks Diane, hope you keep this as a rental for many years, we will be back!

We stayed at the Hopkins residence 8/14-8/21 for a family reunion and had the time of our lives. The home has plenty of room, very clean, very well maintained and the view and beach were priceless We watched the dolphins every morning and evening....... if we get the chance we will definitely return

My family rented this Fantastic House for the last week in July, and we all Loved it! We were eight adults, large adults, and 5 grandchildren under age 7. The house, it's location on-the-beach, it's beachside deck, and the famous Fernandina Beach all perfect for my family. And the added bonus was the most amazing full moon rising over the ocean's horizon. Extraordinary; something at least two of my grandkids will never forget. Diane was great to work with; her house is wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Plan now!
