Welcome to DuFresne House! This is the house you'll want to come back to!!! Amazing views from almost every room. Beautiful sunrises! Enjoy the fresh air and unspoiled beach and water. DuFresne House is cozy and warm in the winter time and cool with breezes off the bay in the summer (or from the A/C).
This is a year round, four sides brick, home located on a deep lot and is not visible from the road. It has a separate two car garage and has plenty of parking available. The views are incredible and there are two porches, one covered and more protected and another porch is in the sun next to the house. Wildlife is abundant. We have turkeys, deer, eagles, and once, just once, a bear.
It is a quick trip by boat from the marina where there is a boat launch. The boat would then be anchored in front of the house or jet skis would be able to be pulled up on the shore.
This house does not have all of the technical bells and whistles at this time (i.e.: Internet, DVDs etc.) It has a full kitchen and huge living room with two recliners, and two sofas one of which is a hide-a-bed. Downstairs there is a full bath, washer and dryer and a bedroom with a queen size bed. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a full size bed, a dormer room with four twin beds and another bathroom.
There is a fire pit in the sand outside the stone wall. Bring your marshmallows! The water is very shallow for a very long ways out. The bottom in the water, is white sand with very few rocks. It is very good for children to play in as they would have to go quite a ways out to be over their heads (supervision is still important, swim at your own risk).
It is located half way between Hennis Park and Turtle Creek. It is a wonderful family home. Well behaved pets are welcome.

My grandparents lived in this home and I vacationed there since I was a baby. I now own it and hope that other people can enjoy it as much as I do when I go and visit. It was built in the 1940s and is a well constructed home.
