This beautiful canalfront home is perfectly sited on sandy beach Gasparilla Island. Over the bridge from the Pink Elephant and a few doors away from The Eagle Marina and Restaurant (previously Millers) it is also a few blocks from wide sandy beaches where you can walk for miles collecting shells, swimming and sunbathing! Just a few islands north of Captiva and Sanibel, the town of Boca Grande is the ideal old Florida vacation without the high-rises!
The island home is surrounded on two sides by a canal and boasts beautiful views of Caribbean sparkling blue water and the green beauty of the Gasparilla Inn golf course. Kayak and boat right from the docks of the home--two boat lifts are available. Fishing is incredible and tarpon are abundant in the Boca Grande Pass. Bike along the quiet streets and the old railroad path of this charming small town. Lie on the beach, shop, and dine in a casual dining restaurant right on the beach or enjoy a gourmet meal within walking distance. If you prefer, rent a golf cart and take it easy. Relax in the private hot tub on the deck and sip a margarita while taking in the sunset over the water.
Each bedroom has a private bathroom and 3 have private balconies or porches. Presently the fourth bedroom is set up as an office but it can be transformed to a fourth bedroom within hours. Walk among the fruit trees on our lot, pick a grapefruit or orange. Look for manatees and dolphins in the canal. Fish from the seawall. This is the vacation you have been waiting for!

- Two boat lifts available for large boat and small boat. Two sides of the property are on the canal and you can fish from the seawall. The side lot has Fruit trees - orange, grapefruit, lemon, lime, tangerine. Private Hot Tub with a sunset view! Florida Gardens including fountains.

- Boca Grande Pass is known as the Tarpon fishing capital of the world. Great fishing. There is a 7 mile long biking, running golf cart path on an old railroad running down the island. Most people bike or ride golf carts around the Island. Two lighthouses are on the island with one having a small museum. You can walk miles of beautiful sand beach and collect shells all day long if you want. Parasailing is available at Captiva Island by boat.

Why the Owner Chose Boca Grande
We chose this single family island home because it is perfectly situated near town but with great boat docks and the views from the house are incredible - over the golf course to the gulf and over the canal to the sunset!
The Unique Benefits at this Single Family Beach Home
We do not rent our home for less than a week at any time due to the cost of cleaning before and after. We are not set up to rent for shorter than one week periods. During January and February we rent by one or more weeks at a time. During March and April, which are the prime months here, we rent by two weeks at a time but prefer one month rentals. From May through mid December we will rent by one week periods again.

Manatees and Dolphins often appear in the small bay and canal surrounding the home.
The Eagle Grille is an exquisite restaurant in nautical ambience and gourmet seafood - also burgers in the casual restaurant downstairs. Don't miss a meal here!
The Gasparilla Inn is a historic Inn with an exquisite restaurant, bar and golf course. Also, known for the rich and famous who stay here!

My husband and I looked for years for the perfect relaxed vacation home with great fishing and boating in Florida. When we found charming small town Boca Grande with its sand beaches and sparkling waters we knew we were home! No high rises or rushed lifestyle. Boca is a place to relax and have fun. If you're into boating as we are the inland waterway leads you to secluded getaways and waterfront restaurants and bars. Boat to Cabbage Key in 15 minutes and enjoy it's unique dollar bill covered walls while you order your drink and burger. Or boat across the pass to Cayo Costa State Park with miles and miles of shell covered beaches. Or travel by boat to Sanibel or Captiva or Fort Myers. North waters will lead you to Venice and further to Sarasota.
