The Davis Victorian Farm house is 1892 landmark home. It is located in beautiful Glen Ellyn, known for its quaint down town and Vintage Homes. The Davis House is located on a very quiet cul-de-sac. Set back from Davis Terrace, its front garden adds to the grandeur of this beautiful home. Steps from Babcock Grove Park as well as Lake Ellyn Park.
The home has a front porch, deck and screened porch. An incredible place for outdoor entertaining. The large European kitchen has a LaCanche triple oven stove, one of many European imports. The large French Farm table seats 6. There is a library directly off of the kitchen. A grand piano graces the music room which has French doors overlooking the large deck. Most of the lighting has been imported from Europe. The turret of the house enables you to see all four directions from the parlor or upstairs Master bedroom sitting room. It is an extremely peaceful neighborhood. It is nestled amongst old trees and is a bit of a nature sanctuary. With its large front yard and gardens it is very private. The court yard fountain echoes through the house and adds another element of tranquility during the non winter period. The large kitchen is truly the heart of this home. Enhanced by the LaCanche triple oven stove. The ancient French farm table is an elegant and warm place for guests to gather.
