This apartment is very roomy and so close to everything. The new supermarket is great. I made my own caprese salad which was just as good as those for 9 euros! We enjoyed the place so much when we found that we were able to extend a day we did. Mery is a wonderful host!

Mery, I just wanted to stay Thank You for being such a great host. We had a wonderful trip to Florence. Your apartment is great And having the elevator was really a plus. It was so nice to use for our luggage. All 6 of us enjoyed our stay. We loved having breakfast at the bakery across the street (or sometimes down at the end of the block). The restaurant next door had wondeful lunchs. We could walk down to the Ponte Vecchio in just a min or 2, and cross the river right into the heart of historical Florence. The Pitti Place was one block the other direction, it was great fun to see. We located the grocery store 2 blocks away, across from the Ponte Vecchio entrance which was also a great find. And we all loved your ceramic shop! Thank you so much for taking such good care of us.

We just finished up a wonderful two night stay in the apartment, and it exceeded all of our expectations. Although Florence reached 100F, we stayed cool and comfortable in the apartment. It is in a super location with markets, restaurants and coffee shops within easy walking distance and is about a 20 minute walk from the train station. It is well furnished, safe, has an elevator and two balconies overlooking the street front (where we drank wine and people watched both nights before going to dinner) from the 2nd floor (equivalent to a third floor in the US). The convenience of a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 3 separate bedrooms and a washing machine were priceless. I wholeheartedly recommend this apartment and hope to stay there again in the future. Please feel free to ask the owners for my email address if you want a further recommendation.

My family, and I enjoyed a recent stay here! Wow. We visited five different cities in Italy over our two week trip. This apartment stood head and shoulders above the rest. Great hosts. I would highly recommend this location and hosts. Our hosts were very accommodating and friendly.

Stayed here for three nights in July, 2011. The apartment is close to Ponte Vecchio and walking distance to everything you would want to see in Florence. The owners were very helpful and gave great dinner recommendations. Apartment basic but comfortable enough for 6. No air, and only fan in two rooms. It was very noisy. The street it is on has lots of pedestrian traffic, and it stays loud until 2 am or so. With the windows open, it is very difficult to sleep in two of the bedrooms, and with them closed it became very hot. Light sleepers beware.

This was a fabulous apartment to stay in. So close to everything. Our family group of 6 were very comfortable. The apartment heating was surprisingly warm in the middle of winter. The shopping in Ponte Vecchio was great and the restaurants and cafes very handy. We brought back a lovely souvenir from Mery's ceramic shop (gorgeous owner) to remind us of our visit to Ponte Vecchio. The living space is basic but when you are holidaying in Florence you don't care about TV and flash lounges. There is too much to do and you will be exhausted when you get home each day. The building lift was a bonus with lots of luggage. There was a bit of street noise in the front 2 rooms from late night revellers. I'd recommend this apartment to fellow Florence visitors - very affordable and hassle free.
