New Smyrna Beach is located between the famous Daytona Beach and Canaveral National Sea Shore. The condo is 1 hour from the Orlando Airport, 20 minutes from the Daytona Beach airport and 2 hours from the Jacksonville airport. Shorehom by the Sea is located towards the south end of the high-rise condos near the beautiful beachfront homes.
The location is much less crowded than other parts of the island. Unit #22 is located on the second floor. Shorehom by the Sea consists of 2 buildings with a large sparking pool between the buildings. The boardwalk to the beach is accessible from the pool area. The pristine dunes are undisturbed and offer an abundance of natural beauty. There is plenty of parking at Shorehom by the Sea.
From the moment you walk in the door, the glistening ocean view greets you. The kitchen, dining area, and living room all afford a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean. The kitchen was completely redone one year ago and offers new cabinets, tile floors and all new appliances. You will find the kitchen fully equipped so entertaining will be a breeze. The wide footprint of the unit allows spaciousness unique to Shorehom by the Sea. Large groups or small will be very comfortable in the living area of unit #22.
There is a bar area which opens the kitchen to the dining area. The dining table seats up to 12. For more intimate meals, there is a small table and chairs on the balcony. The furnishings are all upscale beach casual. The living area has a couch, loveseat and two comfortable chairs. The L shaped wall of windows allows the spectacular view from every seat. The private balcony is perfect for those wanting to hear the ocean and feel the breeze and relax in the privacy of the unit. There is a 42 inch flat screen TV and iPod docking station.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed, full size dresser and small desk, plus a walk in closet. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, and plenty of drawer space in the bedside dressers. One bath has a tub/shower and the other has an oversized shower. Both baths have recently been renovated and updated. There is a washer and dryer located in the unit.
Disney, Universal Studios, and Sea World are only 90 minutes away. Kennedy Space Center is only 30 minutes away. New Smyrna Beach has two full service grocery stores. There are plenty of restaurants to appeal to everyone’s’ taste. Do not miss the French Bakery, Mon Delice, or a quick lunch at the Breakers. Lee and Kathy Tatro have been coming to New Smyrna Beach for over 30 years. They live one and half hours away. Lee is a dentist and Kathy is a school principal. Their sons grew up coming to New Smyrna Beach and now the next generation are coming.

Boating is very enjoyable here. Fishing is great both in the backwaters and the ocean. The best part about coming to the beach is total relaxation.

My wife and I rented this condo for the month of April 2010 and were very happy with it... great value for the money. The condo is beautifully decorated with many of the owner's personal touches throughout. It is well equipped and we made good use of the large kitchen and dining area for entertaining. The living room and deck overlooking the beach is spectacular. The condo was very clean and well prepared for our arrival and we felt at home from the moment we opened the door. The second floor location is convenient, private and high enough for a great view of the beach.Hats off and thanks to the owners for making this beautiful place available to us. We hope to come back another year.
