Please read this whole description prior to jumping to the bottom and calling me.
If you are the kind that trashes condominiums you will not like me very much and I would strongly advise you not to rent my condominium. If you smoke do not rent my condo as it and the property are non smoking. On the positive side if you keep things nice and expect the very best you have found the perfect condominium to rent.
Most VRBO owners live a long way from Orange Beach. There is no problem with them taking your money and giving you access to their property. However, if the unit has a problem or you need additional assistance during your stay you are pretty much out of luck. At the very least you will have to wait for a weekday to get your problems resolved. I live 1/8 mile from the condo. I can resolve any unit problem promptly. I know this area like the back of my hand because I live here full time. I don't have a few favorite places to eat when I come down. I have eaten at every restaurant in Orange Beach. My advice is solid and my tenant support is second to none.
Now about the condo.
This is an awesome, three bedroom, three bath condominium on the water in Orange Beach at The Moorings. It is professionally decorated and by far my nicest condo. This is a huge 1900-square-foot unit with an additional 300 square feet of covered balcony on the water. It has 9-foot ceilings with floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows across the back of the unit.
This condominium has a big screen TV in the living room as well as the master bedroom. The other 2 bedrooms have TV's also. This is a $600,000 unit that has the very best of everything. The furniture as well as the linens are substantially above the quality you will experience in other Moorings units. It has a great view of the pool area as well as Terry Cove and Robinson Island (the most active area of costal Alabama) as well as the Gulf of Mexico.
It is directly next door to Harbour Grille (one of the finest restaurants in Orange Beach). Walk out the back door on 1/4 million sq feet of docks and fish for flounder and trout. Then come on back and cook 'em up on the $3,000 stainless steel Holland Grill on your balcony. Hang out by the one-acre pool area or next to the fireplace in the condominium. Watch TV on a 52-inch HDTV. The kitchen features stainless appliances, granite counters, premium utensils, ice makers and hardwood cabinets.
Take in the boats going by while you read your favorite book on the huge balcony. You can bring your boat and tie it to our docks while you stay. It will be right out your back door. If you have a Jet ski, there is a sandy beach on property to park it. There is a small charge to store your trailer at the marina next door. (The rate is $50 a month. You do the math) There is no trailer storage at the condo.
Sound like a great vacation? It will be if you rent this condominium for the week. If you need less room or would like to spend less money, take a look at my two bedroom VRBO # 245121. I am a licensed realtor that has invested in a couple of rental condos. I specialize in helping buyers find waterfront property in the Orange Beach, Gulf Shores area. My family has lived in Orange Beach since 2006 but we have been coming here for a decade on vacation.
Why the Owner Chose The Moorings
We love Orange Beach, AL. It is the Ft. Lauderdale of north Florida. There are canals through out most of our neighborhoods and fishing abounds in shore and off shore. If you enjoy boating this is a wonderful place to live and visit. Our restaurants and our entertainment are second to none, and the Wharf is only 5 miles up the road. It has headline concerts, theaters, tons of shops and restaurants. It seems that Orange beach has more restaurants per resident than any other place in America. Every variety of food at every price level is available in Orange Beach. Of course the 30 or so sea food restaurants are the most popular. Last but not least, our beautiful beaches. There is more unspoiled beaches in orange beach than you could get to in a month. Our white quartz sand is so clean that it squeaks when you walk on it. Finally, Pensacola and Naval Air Station is only a ½ hour away. The Naval Aviation Museum is the finest in the country. (It’s great for a rainy day at the beach) Come down to Orange Beach and experience why we moved here full time.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
This is a low density condo that is surrounded by activity yet it is church mouse quite at night. The pool is 1st class. The marina is active. There are very few renters in this complex as most owners are millionaires that don't rent their unit. The lights of the bay and the live music that permeates that air in early evenings from the restaurants patio deck next door makes this a beach vacation to remember.
