Why the Owner Chose Homewood
My parents actually had owned the home and I bought it from them. I treasure the memories that I had there during the summers and hope to instill those with my family as well.
The Unique Benefits at this House
It's just fantastic for all seasons. In the summer, we rent a boat and dock it on our dock, in the winter we just walk across the street to ski. Having small children, the location is stellar, given we can always put the kids to nap and still enjoy "our" vacation.

Lovely home, lovely location, well maintained home. Ive stayed at this property numerous times, winter and summer, and no matter when I am here I always enjoy myself. The property is located RIGHT on the water that makes for easy spontaneous fun. In the winter the yard is filled with snow and in the summer you have a beach. Not only is the property amazing, but there is a wonderful hotel located next door that has amazing food for any time of day as well as a great place to socialize in the evening. I find that this property is kid friendly as well! Again the same features that I enjoy the children enjoy! I will definitely visit this property again.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a long relaxing weekend and had such a wonderful time! The view of the lake from the couch by the fireplace at moonrise were particularly amazing. The GIANT windows seem to open right onto the lakeshore itself! We loved the kitchen, and spent a lot of time mixing drinks and playing silly card games together in peaceful bliss. The sunrise light through the balcony doors of the master bedroom made us feel like we were in our own little romantic movie. We had a "Spa Day" and thoroughly enjoyed the steam shower and massive jetted tub for an entire afternoon. Candles, delicious soaps, and plenty of bubbles. The furnishings and details of this home were all top notch, from the massive bed, to the beautiful couches & dining table, and we found ourselves (secretly) wishing we had invited a group of our best friends to come and stay with us. An absolutely beautiful drive around the lake was as easy as pulling out of the driveway, with some amazing hiking, and many many beautiful photographs were made during our stay. Easily one of the prettiest, warmest, and most comfortable places we've ever stayed together. We came back completely refreshed and excited to return for another long weekend relaxing by the fire nestled under the pines. Absolutely beautiful!

Nestled under the pine trees, this house had a great lake view with boats dancing on the waves right out side the window. The house had a beautiful kitchen and outdoor grill which we enjoyed grilling a few steaks. The nice upstair balcony is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee in the a very tranquil setting. A very peaceful place, we enjoyed from the privacy of the yard seeing several rainbows set over the lake as a small storm passed by. The house was very roomy and well appointed, a place you will want to return to for sure!
