This unique mountain style home is located within a 35 minute drive from Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows,Northstar,Heavenly Valley, Diamond Peak and Mt. Rose ski resorts.
If you enjoy a 5 star experience but also want a vacation get away that offers a casual mountain life style, this property on Lake Tahoe's North Shore is for you. It is an eclectic mix of fine finishes, antiques and art, candlelight and comfort, deliciously blended to create a warm inviting ambience.
A three level home, the main living area (living, dining, kitchen, powder room, garage and 365 square foot furnished deck) are all on the entry level.
The kitchen features custom cabinetry,slab granite counters, and is equipped with Viking Professional appliances, refridgerator, wine cooler, dishwasher, 6 burner gas range, 3 ovens and a microwave. Calphalon cookware, Reidel stemware and several sets of dinnerware allow you to create beautiful and delicious meals to fit any mood.
Dining and living areas are open to enjoy the views of Tahoe and are anchored by a split granite gas log fireplace and antique oak floors. Designer furnishings include inviting and overstuffed furniture in rich and warm jewel tones. Sony Bravia flat screen television is equipped with satellite, cable and DVD. There is also a CD player and music library.
Just off the living and dining area is an extra large deck with dining table and conversation area, wicker sofa, club chairs with cocktail table, and umbrella. If you visit during the summer season you will no doubt make this area your favorite spot for cocktails and sunsets over Lake Tahoe. There is a Weber Genesis gas barbecue on the deck to complete your outdoor entertaining.
The master bedroom suite is an oasis of tranquility occupying the entire upper level. With panoramic lake and mountin views,approximately 900 square feet, it contains his and her closets, double vanities, soaking tub,separate shower, beverage/coffee bar and a small training area with treadmill, free weights and incline bench. There is a wall mounted flat screen television in the gym area, as well as on the beverage bar, and a pop up flat screen television at the foot of the king bed.
Additional king and queen bedroom suites are located on the lower level, both have walk in closets,ensuite bathrooms with double vanities and shower. There is an antique armoire with television in the king bedroom.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Eastern Slope
Incline Village on the north shores of Lake Tahoe is geographically in a great location. There are 3 airports within a three and one half hour drive: San Francisco, CA(3.5 hours),Sacramento, CA (2 hours),and Reno, NV (40 minutes). The climate is delightful. Generally the summer temperatures are rarely over 85F and the evenings cool down to about 60F, so air conditioning is not something we use here. The winters are crisp and sunny. Even after a big snow fall the sun comes out, the sky is blue. Incline Village averages 360 days of sunshine annually! Incline Village is a very special place. A smallish town of 9000 residents, we have two golf courses, 2 private beaches, a ski resort, a tennis complex and a 100,000 sq. ft recreation center with an indoor Olympic pool, cardio and weight rooms. All of that within 1 mile of my home. When you live here in Tahoe your biggest problem is figuring out where to go on vacation!

I purchased this Incline Village property in 1998 because I was captivated by the fabulous views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It has great privacy, yet is close to several world class ski resorts, shopping, restaurants, casinos, and of course, the private white sand beaches exclusive to Incline Village residents and their guests. In 2004 the house was totally remodeled in what I describe as an elegant mountain style. I love the fine finishes and appointments the home has now, but it still has that casual mountain feel that everyone seems to enjoy when they visit Lake Tahoe.
