This large, comfortable and beautifully decorated five-bedroom mountain home has the most perfect location in the entire Sun Valley area, very close to the center of town on a quiet street of private luxury homes, near all activities summer and winter. Walking distance to the Sun Valley Lodge and Village, downtown Ketchum, Big Wood Golf Course, and two minutes to the Sun Valley Golf Course and to the Ski Mountain.
Free ski and golf buses run close by. It has a huge, wrap-around deck, dining tables/chairs for 10 with spectacular mountain views in three directions for outdoor entertaining in the summer and a hot tub for winter and cool summer nights. It has been occupied by the the owners and their family, from La Jolla, California, for 16 years and maintained with great care and attention to detail. There is a Property Manager and cleaning staff as needed. Chef, masseuse and other services can be arranged. If you throw a dart at the center of the Sun Valley area map you will hit this house!
There is a large gourmet kitchen with it's own dining area, plus a separate dining room with it's own fireplace, seating eight, and a bar area. The main living area is focussed on a floor-to-ceiling, wood burning, natural river rock fireplace, with automatic gas starter. Oak firewood is supplied instead of pine. The library/TV room has an ample assortment of books, music, DVD's, videos, and games.
The home is encircled by a beautiful lawn and privacy is protected by surrounding trees allowing views out to the mountains but not in to the home. The outdoor hot tub also provides views out to the mountains but is snugly situated to provide complete privacy when being used.

This home has been owned by a family from La Jolla, Ca. for sixteen years and used regularly by their family members. Recently they built and have been spending more time at their new Mexican villa near Puerto Vallarta (Punta Mita) so this Sun Valley home will be rented for part of each summer and winter.
