This very charming apartment is located on edge of the 7th and the 15th arrondissements, in a high standing building of the Avenue de Suffren few steps away from Champs de Mars and Eiffel Tower. This is one of the safest Parisian areas and very required by American residents in Paris. There are numerous shops and stores, restaurants and supermarkets.
Our apartment is at the sixth French floor via elevator. It consists of hall, double salon, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen. It is perfect for a couple looking for an elegant and romantic accomodation.
The bedroom offers a fantastic view of Eiffel Tower and is fully decorated by wood panelling with several wall cupboards. The living room has a sitting area and a dining area with a really very charming furniture. The bathroom has shower-tub and bidet, washbasin, and toilette. The kitchen is equipped by a gas cooktop, stone sink, several closet containing all necessary utensils, electric oven, microwave oven, a combo fridge and freezer, dishwasher, electric kettle and coffeemaker, toaster, and table for 3 person just in front of the window.
The apartment provides also washing machines, Tv cable, free long distance telephone, wifi Internet connection for your laptop.

This apartment has a great view of the Eiffel Tower from every room. It is a short walk to the tower, to Champ-de-Mars, or the Rue Cler area. About 10 minutes from the Metro. There is an ATM and small grocery at the same address. Lots of places to eat or buy food on Blvd. De Grenelle and Ave. De La Motte-Picquet. The Motte-Picquet metro station has a staffed ticket booth so you can buy RER tickets or Metro tickets right there. The apartment is on the 6th floor and there are two elevators available. It is not a particularly fantastic apartment. The decor is a bit eclectic and worn and the kitchen is tired. Cabinets are filled with odds and ends and the towels are old. Even so, it is a good deal and a good location. The double bed in the bedroom is a little smaller than the fold-away in the living room. Both beds had good support and were comfortable for my family of three. Very quiet at night. Manager met us as scheduled and everything went smoothly. Cleaning deposit was refunded promptly with no problems. One thing - there is a, 80 euro fee for checking in on Sundays, higher fee for checking in at night. This fee was not disclosed until after we paid the deposit. This did not stop us from renting, but it would be nice to see this fee disclosed up front. All, in all, we can recommend this place. It is advertised accurately and the location says "Paris" every time you look out the window.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

I stayed in this beautiful apartment from October 11th through October 24th, 2011. The apartment has everything and an amazing amount of closets and storage. Kitchen (eat-in) fully supplied with everything needed. Mme. Barbot who takes care of the apartment is a wonderful lady and extremely accomodating. I was already familiar with the area and it is near everything. Three supermarkets as well as an open-air market twice a week. Access to 3 metro lines. I would stay here again in a heart beat. I spend quite a bit of time in Paris each year, and hopefully on my next visit this apartment will be available.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car, people with disabilities.
