  I rated this LOCATION as "Fair" only because the location and view are great. Also, the kitchen area in this unit has been remodeled and is nice. That's the good. Now the bad.... Front door screen needs replacing/repair. Screen on Sliding screen door at deck has come loose in spots (fortunately, there were no bugs). No closet space....the one closet you get in the downstairs bedroom is packed with rolled up pieces of carpet, cleaning supplies, boogie boards, folding chairs, etc. Be prepared to stack your luggage/golf clubs somewhere in the unit...taking up limited living space. Shredded curtains in the living area. Makes the place look like a ghetto property. The advertised big screen TV is on the wall in the living room...but it does not work. We were informed it has not worked for a long time. Owner moved small screen from bedroom into livingroom. That means no TV in bedroom. The single bedside light in bedroom not bright enough to read by. So you can't read in bed and no TV to watch either. Want to use the fan in the bedroom at night? Well, don't turn it past low as it's out of balance and rocks back and forth making a noise all night long. Bedspreads are old and disgusting. Fold them up and put them away somewhere. Oh yeah, no closet space so you'll have to tuck them into some corner along with your luggage. Sheets on my bed had hairs and some other organic matter on them when we arrived. I was doing laundry at midnight to get the sheets clean. (NOTE: Owner did provide a free cleaning after notified of problem) Laundry area, while functional, is beat up and dirty. Garbage closet in the kitchen STINKS! ....whether or not there is any garbage in there. Active termite infestation in master bath (termite droppings all over bathroom counter). Loveseat in living room has broken webbing so there is no support for anyone trying to sit there. Kitchen is well-stocked except there is no salad spinner. Closest BBQ is about a 75 yard walk. Not a big deal, but a bit inconvenient. No A/C...and it can get hot in the unit from Noon until sunset as sun beats directly in for that entire time period. Can't sit out on deck for that reason. No shade out there. Paint is old and a number of spots on walls/doors are dirty and either need cleaning or paint. The place is liveable but it's clear owner wants to spend the least amount of money possible to keep the place up. Want to stay at this resort? Go directly thru Napili Point office

  We stayed at Napili Point from May 31-June 9, 2011. There were at least a dozon turtles in the lagoon, we had to be careful not to bump into them. We also saw several large Morey Eeels and lots of fish. The unit had a King bed downstairs for my wife and I, as well as twins upstairs for our 14 and 13 year olds. The kids enjoyed the free wifi and cable TV (although not until after sunset - our rules) We really liked the fact the unit had a full sized washer and dryer, snorkel gear, and boogie boards - we used all of them. The on-site gas BBQ's saved us lots of money on dinners out, and we met several very nice owners who made great suggestions about local activities.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  We (2 gandparents, 2 parents and a toddler) had a terrific time, good, clean place, great view, terrific beaches for children near by, lovely area, not too congested but easy access to facilities. highl recommend.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  We stayed in condo C-20 (2 bed / 2 bath) for two weeks over the Christmas holidays. The unit was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The upper level condos at Napili Point provide fabulous views of the ocean and cove. The sunsets are unbelievable! During whale season, you can watch the whales from the patio. In the 2 bedroom condos the upstairs bedroom is a loft style and open to the lower main floor. There is no a/c but the open windows and ceiling fans provide plenty of moving air and we were never uncomfortable. The open windows also allow you to listen to the ocean just below. Our condo had a very large wall mounted HDTV with many channels of digital cable (you won’t use the TV a lot, but it’s nice to have just in case). Snorkeling is very good in the cove outside your condo and 5-6 sea turtles are always around. Also, it’s a short walk along an unfinished path to a very nice beach next door. If the ocean is not your thing, there are two clean and well maintained pools on property. We had our kids along (boys, ages 9 & 12) and they loved Napili Point. There were not a lot of kids here considering schools were out for the holidays. We stayed here two years ago in February and there were almost no other kids on that visit. If your kids need lots of "bells and whistles" this may not be the place for you. Our kids were fine with two pools and all the great snorkeling. Overall, Napili Point is a great place to stay and the price is very fair for what you get compared to other properties on Maui. We rented through the resort on our first trip two years ago (same unit) and directly from the owner on this trip. We saved a lot by renting from the owner and he was a pleasure to work with. Glad we rented directly from Bob. There are many restaurants within a short drive; several grocery stores close by; very close to Kapalua Resort; and about a 10-15 minute drive into Lahina. In the area we enjoyed eating at The Gazebo (yes, it's worth the wait), Roy's, Hula Grill, and Lahaina Grill. The kids really liked Kimo's and the Hula Pie.

  The 2 bedroom point ocean front condo (Unit C-20) was perfect! It had been recently updated and was very clean. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and the sunsets were incredible. The units do not have air-conditioning, however, with the sea breeze and ceiling fans every night felt like it was early spring. Along with the sea breeze and sounds of the ocean, nothing could be more relaxing. Directly in front of the condos we had fantastic snorkeling with the sea turtles. Every morning from the deck you could see the turtles swimming below. What a treat! Unit C-20 was a great find and we will definitely go back. In fact, we have booked a week in October.

  The condo was great, the views spectacular, and there's nothing like the ocean waves to lull you to sleep. We will definitely be back to stay again!
