3 Springs Ranch is dog-friendly, so pack up those canine companions. With 80 acres of land to roam leash free, it’s a great spot for dog-lovers and their 4 footed friends!
The ranch offers flexible accommodations. Traveling solo or just the two of you? Rent out the one bedroom main house, with a large well-stocked kitchen, a great room with a wall of windows to view the valley, and outdoor seating on the deck. For larger parties, rent both the main house and the bunkhouse to give you 2 extra bedrooms and a bath for guests.

Owner Description
Our family has always enjoyed gathering together with good food, good friends, and good wine! Since most of us have canine companions as part of our families, it wasn't easy finding a vacation spot to accommodate everyone with space to relax and roam. After an extensive search, we found this lovely oak-studded property with natural springs and decided to create a family retreat. We designed and built the houses to take advantage of the natural beauty of the surroundings, with plenty of open space and light. Our family, friends, and dogs have enjoyed years of coming together at 3 Springs ranch and we wanted to share the same great experience with others.
Why the Owner Chose Lower Lake
We chose this area because Lake County still has that small town feel. It is uncrowded, unpretentious, and still largely untouched by major development like other vacation destinations around the bay area. We specifically chose this property because it offered exactly what we were looking for - peaceful seclusion, abundant wildlife, a pristine natural setting, gorgeous views, and open space for our dogs to enjoy too.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The most obvious benefit is the sense of peace and relaxation we feel at the ranch. Spending quality time with family and friends in such a beautiful and serene location is a close second! And, of course, its a wonderful place to take our dogs hiking with incredible views and landscapes for us and lots of good smells for them.
We love the natural springs that provide all the water for the houses- no chemicals, just pure spring water.
3 Springs provides us with that perfect blend of getting in tune with the natural environment and still having modern conveniences, and we will be enjoying it for years to come!

Just returned from four glorious days at the ranch. The house is beautifully situated with magnificent views. Trails are well marked (again magnificent views). Lots of space for dogs to run and just act like dogs. The house is well stocked with just about anything you could need and is very very clean and in great condition. You can be as connected to the outside world as you wish (or not). Even though it was pretty warm, there was always a nice breeze up on the hillside. While it felt very isolated, it was not far from Middletown or Clear Lake. I see a return trip in the future.

We spent a relaxing weekend at 3 Springs, hiking the trails around the property (which are all maintained and marked), sleeping in the hammocks, enjoying the fantastic view of Mt. St. Helena, and visiting a local winery (6 Sigma). The houses are both modern and very clean. The kitchen is totally equipped for cooking - utensils, dishes, spices, serving dishes, pots, pans, etc. We got some amazing fresh eggs from the owner. Also the property is not far from restaurants in Middletown. Nice selection of books, games and videos entertained us and the kids. We were there in May and the wildflowers were truly gorgeous. Definitely would recommend this for people with dogs - there is lots of room to roam.

I spent a long weekend at 3 Springs Ranch and cannot say enough great things about it. By the end of my visit, I was well rested and rejuvinated and my two dogs were happy and exhausted. You can tell the owners really care about their guests' experiences and it makes a difference.

My husband and I have stayed at the ranch 4 times and it gets better every time. They have everything you need for cooking inside or out. The kitchen has every tool, pots, pans and gadgets you need to cook up tasty treats as well as a gas bbq outside...My husband who is a home chef found everything one would need to cook up fantastic meals. It's also dog friendly wonderland. You can hang out on the hammocks and toss balls down the hill(nice for the lazy ones) or fish and go for a swim in the pond. It's a beautiful drive from SF and well worth the trip.

My husband and I have stayed at the beautiful 3 Springs ranch a few times. We have enjoyed both the main house and also Mila's bunkhouse. We adore this vacation spot for its seclusion, privacy and beautiful natural surroundings. Our dogs have loved it, and it is an incredibly wonderful feeling to allow them total freedom to do everything that dogs love to do: run free and hard, sniff every inch of the property, then sleep soundly in the sunshine at our feet. The main house is so perfectly equipped and modern. I can't think of an item of comfort and convenience that was missing. It's a great kitchen and family room. Great place to cook, have a glass of wine and enjoy the expansive view. Having the special farm fresh items that are provided by the owners is icing on the cake! A perfect weekend retreat- priced amazingly reasonably and close to the Bay Area. Thanks 3 Springs! We will be back!
