My girlfriends and I had a fabulous time at this quaint spot! We found a fantastic brunch place up the road, lots of cute shops and good juice, but the best feature was the access to the amazing beach! We arrived on Friday to participate in the Vancouver Marathon on Sunday and had an enjoyable time checking out the city and the neighborhoods. Great price, comfortable space, good kitchen...it had it all!

As I made arrangements for this rental, I was delighted to find that the owner was informative, well-organized, and quick to respond. On arrival, the building was attractive and well-kept, with lovely plantings on the street frontage. The condo was the perfect layout for a family or two couples, having a compact but well-equipped central area with kitchen, dining and living spaces, flanked by two bedrooms (queen and king), each with a spacious walk-in closet and a full ensuite bath. There was also a small "office" space with desk and lamp, and a pleasant balcony. The wifi was fast and reliable. The condo was sparklingly clean, with high-end appliances. The location is wonderful: close to a large, natural park and miles of seaside walking/biking trails, a step from well-served transit stops, with great restaurants and shopping of all kinds. Although West 4th is a busy street, the condo faces the rear of the building and is absolutely quiet. We heard no traffic noise, and no noise from neighbours. I hope to stay here again, and have already recommended this vacation rental to others.

Great location! We loved walking to Jericho Beach each morning to see the sunrise and look for harbour seals! There are many restaurants, coffee shops and a grocery store within walking distance. The bus is right outside the door, and it is just a short ride to most attractions. The condo was spotless, and the beds were very comfortable! The pictures on the listing accurately represent this lovely condo. The kitchen had everything you need for making meals at home, and the gas stove was a bonus. The owner was very helpful and answered all our questions promptly.

The condo added greatly to the pleasure of our visit to Vancouver. It was very clean, comfortable and well equipped and close to main bus routes so it was ideal for us, not having a car. The description on the website exactly describes the condo. Highly recommended

Great Location for Vancouver Vacation

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo. The condo was very well-equipped and in like-new condition. The neighborhood is very nice; we especially enjoyed the use of the hot yoga studio right across the street. There was convenient and nice shopping within close walking distance. The parking was perfect, even for our mini-van. The bicycles were a real plus, as there are excellent bike trails and beaches that are fun to explore by bike. We would definitely recommend this rental to our friends and family. The owner provided excellent customer service, and was there to greet us on our arrival.

Wir habe eine wunderschöne Woche in Vancouver verbracht und die Entscheidung, diese Wohnung zu mieten, war genau richtig. Wir haben alles so angefunden, wie wir es auf Grund der Beschreibung erwartet haben. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und perfekt ausgestattet. Der Vermieter ist sehr kooperativ und hilfsbereit. Wir würden diese Wohnung in jedem Fall weiter empfehlen.

THE Place for A Perfect time in Vancouver

The Condo at Jericho Beach was our home during the entire month of June 2011. We, a Swiss family (children 6, 9 and 11 year old) from the Lake of Constance, enjoyed all advantages from this sensationally situated dwelling: The location: There is a good, fast and regular connection by public transport to downtown/city center and the UBC. On the other hand nature is attainable by feet. In the morning we went to a language course (downtown) and to work at UBC. In the afternoon we had a great time at the sandy beaches (perfect for children) or in the animal-rich Jericho park. The children loved playing in the sand or attending the sail course. The equipment: The clean, modern and perfectly equipped Condo held in all interests, which the Internet appearance promised. In every detail one can notice that this Condo means a lot for the forestalling and nice owner and that he would like to give his enthusiasm to the welcome guests. In retrospect the Condo was the perfect place for our time in Vancouver. We miss the Condo and Vancouver very much. Der gesamte Monat Juni 2011 war das Condo unser Heim. Wir, eine schweizer Familie vom Bodensee (Kinder 6, 9 und 11 Jährig), genossen von dieser sensationell gelegenen Wohnung alle Vorteile in vollen Zügen: Der Standort: Die gute, schnelle und regelmässige Anbindung an den öffentlichen Verkehr nach downtown und an die UBC. Andererseits ist die Natur fussläufig erreichbar. Vom Condo aus gingen wir Morgens in den Sprachkurs (downtown) bzw. an die UBC arbeiten. Jeden Nachmittag verbrachten wir am für Kinder optimalen Sandstrand oder im tierreichen Park, spielten im Sand oder besuchten einen Segelkurs. Die Ausstattung: Das saubere, moderne und perfekt ausgestattete Condo hielt in allen Belangen, was der Internet-Auftritt versprach. Man merkt in allen Details, dass dieses Condo dem zuvorkommenden und netten Besitzer viel bedeutet und er den willkommenen Gästen seine Begeisterung mitgeben möchte Rückblickend war das Condo DER perfekte Ort für unsere Zeit in Vancouver. Wir vermissen das Condo und Vancouver sehr.

We enjoyed the entire month of May in this lovely suite. The location was perfect for us: near beaches, parks, shops and restaurants. The place was sparkling clean and had every amenity that we needed. The underground parking was a definite plus. The owner was wonderful to deal with. We loved our stay here.

This little gem was just what we needed. It's everything the owner says it is. The minivan even fit in the underground parking with the ski box on top. We were a family with 2 kids (6 and 8 years old), the laudry room was nice to have so we could pack a bit lighter. The beach is just a few minutes away on foot to gravel paths and green spaces. Coffee shops, restaurants...all in walking distance. Overall a comfy apartment in a quiet building in a nice area. We will definitely stay again if in Vancouver.

The best of springtime in Vancouver!

My husband and I enjoyed our month at the Urban Oasis at Jericho Beach in March 2011. We found that all the basics were within about three blocks – IGA market, Cuppa Joy coffee shop, the Cove Pub, and a number of other interesting shops and eateries. Jericho Beach and area walkways allowed us daily time near the water with great views of Vancouver and the coastline, rain or shine. If you have a vehicle, the trails of Pacific Spirit Regional Park at UBC provide a rainforest immersion close to home. To our surprise and delight, late March is the onset of cherry blossom time in Vancouver! Cherry trees bursting with light pink blossoms line 3rd Avenue, north of the condominium, as well as many other local streets. Although this was the first time we had experienced this side of Vancouver, we found that even locals consider it the most beautiful time of year. Thanks to the owners for facilitating a relaxed and comfortable stay.

Great place to stay in Vancouver with easy public transport links to most parts of the city. Good local shops and Restaurants. Quiet rear facing flat just a short walk from the beautiful Jerico Beach. Self- catering appartment was more spacious than we expected and very clean and well maintained with all the equipment you could need. Owners very friendly and helpful. Would have no hesitation in recommending this Condo.

Quiet, comfortable condo

We stayed for a long weekend with our two young children. The condo is in a great location - close to restaurants and stores on 4th Ave, Broadway and 10th. Frequent buses to Granville Island, UBC and downtown. The condo is very nicely finished, great towels, dishes, glasses, etc. All the kitchen utensils you need for meals in. All in all it was a great place to come back to after days spent touring around the city.

Had a most enjoyable stay for the second week of the Olympics. We second all of comments to date. Comfortable, well equipped, stylish, and (having regard to the prevailing rates of the Games) quite reasonable.

Great condo in a great city. The location is ideal. Easy walk to the park and beach with great city and mountain views. Close to everything, restaurants (recommend Jeremiah's pub), food, liquor store. Public transportation could not be easier and just 15-20 minutes to downtown. The condo has all the modern conveniences with great appliances, wifi/internet, washer/dryer. We spent 10 days here during the 2010 Winter Olympics and it just makes me want to come back to visit Vancouver in the summer and I'd stay at the same condo.

the personal attention of the owner and reasonable approach was a welcome change to the usual landlords. If you are looking for immaculate (and I mean, immaculate), safe, quiet and convenient accommodations while staying in Vancouver, this is the place. Looking exactly as the pictures show, restaurants and shopping are close by with great walking/hiking on the beaches and near UBC. We won't stay anywhere else when we visit Vancouver again!
