  We thoroughly enjoyed our annual family vacation in Gulf Shores... and Life O Reilly was a big part of why. Its a beautiful house in a very nice location... right on the beach. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out in the well appointed bedrooms, but a very nice kitchen, dining, and family room on the main level for gathering everyone together. The private pool was a big plus for us, and having it located on the side of the house rather than the back allowed those relaxing on the expansive back deck to keep an ear on the pool while enjoying some peaceful, uncluttered gulf views. We couldn't have asked for a much better place to spend the week... and as fate would have it, the sea turtles in the nest a few hundred feet down the beach were hatching. Our daughter had the once in a lifetime chance to sit with the volunteer late on the second night and name and then shepherd a lone baby turtle from nest to home in the ocean. Just about perfect. We left only a couple of weeks before Hurrican Isaac came through. Certainly hope that Life O Reilly weathered the storm without damage or trouble. Thanks for sharing this wonderful home with us.

  With nine adults and six granddaughters in tow, this marvelous beach house was a perfect match. The top floor single beds were a great improvement from the triple bunks we had last year. Without an elevator, the first floor master worked really well for a limited mobility family unit and even had its own temp. control and was surprisingly quiet for the location next to the pool and deck. The kitchen was equipted with high quality Wolf Gang Puck cookware, six barstools, a good separate ice maker, plenty of ice from the frig. and an extra frig. downstairs for beverages on the way to the beach. We have rented beach houses for over ten years and have never had a stress free week like we had at Life O Reilly. The wonderful covered deck with plenty of furniture gave Granddad and Nana a great place to watch the granddaughters and be close to the pool. I would highly recommend Blalock Seafood and Beach Bum Services. Any family looking for beach memories needs to rent Life O Reilly.

  We stayed in Life O'Reilly last month for the second year in a row, and we loved it. The house is beautiful and very well appointed. We have been staying in Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan since 1998 when our son went to school in Mobile, and this was the nicest house we have stayed in in Gulf Shores. It is even nicer than the description, really beautiful furnishings, well-equipped kitchen and bedrooms, right on the beach and has a nice pool for the grand kids swimming. The living area is great; there was ample room for our family with our five children, some spouses and eight grand children. We had a couple of problems at first, the ice maker was not working and the air conditioning on the third floor was not either, but repair men were there within a few hours of our reporting it. The house is also close enough to the main drag, which is great as our grand kids get older and want to go "in town" to the zoo and amusement park. There are also great restaurants that accommodate large groups--we made our yearly visit to Lulu's, Tacky Jacks and The Hangout. And of course, the outlet mall is only fifteen minutes away, so there is something for everyone. I highly recommend Life O'Reilly to anyone wanting a perfect vacation.

  My husband and I rented this absolutely gorgeous beach home to celebrate Thanksgiving with friends, and everyone had a fantastic time. The house is beautiful inside and out, with all the conveniences for large gatherings, including an extra refrigerator on the ground floor--perfect for Turkey Day preparations. The beach is pristine, and the sand white and soft, ideal for a pre-dinner football game or just lounging about. Nearly all the bedrooms have amazing Gulf views with decks, and the pool is just another great bonus. This is simply a class act of a house. The care the owners have taken with the smallest of details shines through. Our visit included a number of age ranges; discovering that there'd be room for many without feeling cramped was about the best bonus we could have asked for. I'd HIGHLY recommend this house. My husband and I have rented on the coast for years, and Life O Reilly is hands-down the most ideal vacation rental out there. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for making our Thanksgiving week something to remember for a lifetime!

  We just booked Life O"Reilly for a week next May, for the second year in a row. After staying in different houses in Gulf Shores and Fort Morgan for almost fifteen years, we finally found one that suited our family perfectly and that we all wanted to rent again. It is beautiful, well-equipped and close to restaurants and shopping. Most importantly--it is right on the beach and has a large living area for us, our children and grandchildren, a swimming pool for the little ones and is furnished with everything one could possibly need. I highly recommend Life O'Reilly for any large group or family--you will not be disappointed.

  THE PICTURES DO NOT DO THIS HOUSE JUSTICE IT WAS EVERYTHING IT STATED AND MORE. BEAUTIFUL LIVING AREA ENOUGH TO SEAT MY WHOLE FAMILY (17) TOGETHER. WE LOVED, LOVED, LOVED IT....THE BEACH VIEW WAS SPECTACULAR THE POOL WAS WONDERFUL THE COVERED WRAPAROUND DECK WAS GREAT I COULD SIT OUT THERE AND READ OR WATCH THE GRANDKIDS ON THE BEACH OR IN THE POOL. THE BEDROOMS WERE SPECTACULAR THE LINENS AS GOOD OR BETTER THAN HOME. I HAVE BEEN TO GULF SHORES MANY MANY TIMES BUT THIS WAS THE BEST FOR A BIG FAMILY. WE HAD AGES 6 TO77 (ME BEING THE 77). IT IS 3 STORIES SO THEIR ARE STAIRS BUT TH E KIDS LOVED IT ONE MASTER BEDROOM IS ON THE FIRST FLOOR WE ARE NEAR RESTAURANTS WE LOVED GULF SHORES STEAME RS, BAHAMA BOB , LAMBERTS ( HOME OF THE THROWED ROLLS) ORIGINAL OYSTER HOUSE, WOLF BAY LODGE AND DOC'S. NO ONE WANTED TO COOK SO WE WENT EARLY 4:30 - 5:00 AND THEY WERE ALWAYS ABLE TO SEAT US CLOSE TOGETHER WITH A SHORT WAIT. EVERYONE MUST GO TO FOLEY AT THE TANGER OUTLET MALL ONE TIME. I GOT A COACH PURSE PRETTY REASONABLE. WE ALSO VISITED THE TRACK SO THE KIDS COULD RIDE THE GO KARTS, LOTS OF FUN .WHEN WE COME BACK TO GULF SHORES THIS HOUSEWILL DEFINITELY BE OUR PLACE TO STAY IT WAS SO CONVENIENT TO RESTAURANTS , CHURCH, SHOPPING. THANKS TO THE REILLY'S E.VERY MODERN CONVENIENT WAS THERE INCLUDING THAT WONDER FUL ICEMAKER WHEN YOU WALK IN FOR THE FIRST TIME YOU WILL BE BLOWN AWAY, IT IS SO CLEAN AND IT IS FURNISHED LIKE A BEACH HOUSE SHOU LD LOOK. GREAT JOB AND KUDO'S ' TO T HE REILLY FAMILY ALSO WE LOVED TCBY (YOGURT) FOR OUR DESSERT MOST NIGHTS ON HWY 59. BETTY FROM ST.LOUIS

  This house was gorgeous, clean, smartly decorated. The pool was awesome and even has a safety gate for little ones. I mention this because I have a friend that has had family reunions every summer in Gulf Shores for years and stayed in many homes and she came during our stay and said that the pool gate was the first one she ever saw, she was awed by the home also. The beds are comfy, baths are many and beautiful...You know how at the end of a vacation you are ready to get home and get into your own bed----well not after you stay here. It was my best vacation ever (including Europe) I will miss my early morning and evening walks on the beach. I need to mention that I brought all 5 of my married boys, wives and grandkids and they did not want to ever go home either...We are booking now for next year. The kids will kill me if I did not mention the hardworking ice maker.....it worked it's ice off.

  We had a wonderful time at Life O Reilly! It is a beautiful home exactly as described- more than enough room for our 2 families that went. Beautiful beaches and great weather! Only issue we had was with keeping the DW running- it kept shutting itself off. Hope to be back sometime in the future!

  This house was everything the site showed and more. The interior decor was great. Plenty of room to spread out for everyone. The beach was gorgeous and the water was good. The pool was the perfect ending to the day at the beach. The view from the house to the beach was spectacular! Great sunsets from the porch. Could not have asked for better.   This house is amazing--beautifully decorated and well designed, offering us great comfort for our group of 17. The teenagers loved having their own sitting area on the second floor. The pool is a real "plus", and the ocean view and white sandy beach provide hours of beauty and relaxation. Great shopping and restaurants nearby.
