Chateau Covington- is a Ski-in/Ski-out condominium that is seconds from the ski slopes and the American Eagle lift and perfectly located in the heart of the Center Village at Copper Mountain.

This condominium features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, fully updated kitchen, oversize ski gear closet, and flat screen LCD TV with high-definition surround sound. Come and share our beautiful getaway for your next family vacation or gathering of friends and you will see why we love our ‘other’ home more and more every year.
The kitchen has everything you need for a family meal in or a simple snack with its energy efficient stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, maple cabinets, and warm colors. The adjoining dining room seats 6. The living room features the luxuries necessary for an alpine vacation including a gas fireplace, a 42 inch flat screen LCD TV, surround sound system, inviting furnishings, and a spacious deck overlooking the Village at Copper Mountain and the ski slopes.
The master bath is graced with marble countertops, two sinks and decorator faucets accenting the warm colors and furnishings in the master bedroom. Stone floors, fresh carpet, modern light fixtures, and rich paint colors fill the senses with their warm and comforting presence.
Sleeping accommodations are as follows: (1) King Bed in master bedroom / (1) Queen Bed in second bedroom / (1) Queen pull-out bed with inflatable pillow top for mattress in living room.
On the same level as the condo is the hot tub, sauna, and exercise/ workout room. The exercise/ workout room is complete with showers and locker room. One floor up you will find the laundry facilities. Also on the same floor as our condo is ‘secret’ access to Jack’s Bar and Grill. This way you can avoid the snow and/or cold while going to the ‘Lefty Lucy’ show at Jack’s Bar, ski rentals, gift shop, and anything else you might need at the Mountain Adventure Center. Ask us about this and we will give you the secret instructions.
Chateau Covington is not only exceptional on the inside, but is also a part of the best Lodge in Copper Mountain. And of course, its location couldn't be better. Just head downstairs for any of the following: downhill skiing and snowboarding; technical climbing on the climbing wall; making s’mores over any of the fire pits; ice-skating and/ or paddle boats on the lake; mountain biking; sledding; and so many more fun activities that the Center Village has to offer.

Year Purchased: 2004
We are happy to introduce ourselves as Grace and Ron Covington. As lovers of outdoor adventure (both in winter and in summer) you can find us on any given day racing down the slopes of Copper Mountain, playing a round of golf in the beautiful Colorado sun, riding our dirt-bikes over treacherous cliffs in Moab, taking a long Harley Davidson ride down to Arizona, or hiking a fourteener. We have just relocated to Colorado Springs, Colorado and are both Developer/ Builders. Ron's company builds homes for our troops and for every other person who wants a quality place to live in Colorado Springs, and my company builds in Summit County. Ron has two children ages 13 and 16, and Grace comes from a very very large Italian/Irish family. We are both actively involved in each of our communities and pride ourselves on being caring individuals with the utmost integrity and honesty. We are also so very thrilled to say that we are best friends and love spending time with each other more than anything else.
Why the Owner Chose Copper One
As a third generation Colorado native, I simply LOVE our beautiful state and have grown up skiing each one of its fantastic resorts. My husband is originally from California, but fell so much in love with Colorado that he relocated here. His favorite place to ski is Copper Mountain and mine is Vail. So we decided to buy a vacation home in Copper Mountain that we could enjoy and share with our family and friends. It is perfect because we can walk out the front door for alpine skiing, enjoy the energy of the Village at Copper, stroll around the lake, or do just about anything our resort offers. And Vail is only 20 minutes away. Of course we can't always get away to our beautiful home, so we decided to share it with others who would appreciate it as much as we do. And that is why we decided to use VRBO- a very reputable and reliable source- to help us offer our home to considerate and friendly people to create fabulous vacation memories.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Copper One Lodge is the most sought after location for family ski vacations in Copper Mountain. We enjoy the excitement of heading out the front for alpine skiing. We love to wake early and stroll around the village with a fresh latte from the Aplinista Bistro. On fresh powder days, we rise super early to get the first chair and race down as many runs as possible (hoping I-70 got closed and we have the runs all to ourselves). During the week the ski traffic is very low and there are never lines! Since we are such a great part of the community everywhere we go we see people we know and they all treat us well. If you need any 'special treatment' during your stay- just let us know. We have round the clock security patrols, well-maintained facilities, and concierge service. There are so many more wonderful benefits to our beautiful home and where we live it would take forever to write and forever for you to read.
