When someone dreams of visiting Alaska for the first time the images that go through the mind are viewed from your balcony as well as the drive from Anchorage to Soldotna on a sunny day! Thanks so much for the use of your home for these past ten days. Your cabin made for an extremely comfortable base to explore the Kenai Peninsula.

First time to Alaska and stayed August 2011. This home was beautiful!!! It is In a private setting with own fishing deck and fishing poles and was close enough to town. We had the vacation of a lifetime and I hope to be able to return in the near future. We ate at Sals a couple of times it was wonderful. We also grilled some fresh caught salmon, WOW!!! We had the vacation of a lifetime and I hope to be able to return in the near future. I would recommend this house to friends and family.

Gorgeous house along the Kenai - definitely worth the $. We had 6 but definitely comfortable for 8-10. It's a little out of the way down Funny River Road but it's worth the little bit of extra drive. We were there early in the season so there wasn't much fishing to be done yet on the Kenai but there are amazing views and everything in the house itself is very nice.

I want to thank you for a really spectacular vacation for our get together. We loved your cabin, the view, the river and your hospitality. I cannot say enough about your place, the beds were comfortable, everything was clean and neat. (I did not have this last time I was in Kenai as I explained to Dave) We did not do good at a few areas but did great in others. We caught our silvers and pinks and are BBQ'ing them as I type. I do business at a sporting goods store in Oakdale California. They are also a wholesale distributor for over 800 sporting goods stores in California and Nevada. Upon return, I praised our vacation with pictures and have them posted at their desk. I also posted pictures with the lures they gave me to try and the fish we caught on them. So, if all goes well, you should have some requests from there. We will return if your cabin is still available.

Everything is going great! In fact, we are so disappointed that the dates are not open for next year. As for the fishing, its great! I caught my limit yesterday and today! Everyone caught at least one yesterday or their limit. My son, who is 6, caught his very first red salmon yesterday and I have it on video. Thank you, thank you! Believe me you have brought so much joy to me and my family. Fishing is our passion! The house is lovely and the views are awesome.
