We loved our stay at your home. It is a beautiful location. The home accommodated all three couples allowing them privacy as well as large enough areas to be together comfortably. We enjoyed fishing from the platform and the house was stocked with everything we needed.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

What a great time we had staying at your lovely home. Thanks for sharing. There was nothing bad I can say about the home. It had all the ementies we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. The place was very clean and comfortable. Oh and did I mention the view. Just sitting on the deck or the dock made for a vacation in it self. We hope to return sometime in the future. We would recommend this property to anyone. Of course the fishing was good. Thanks JaneRecommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

our stay at the house on Kenai was more then we expected. Our family from New Jersey were very impressed with the house. The downstairs was so great for the teenagers who needed a place to play games and watch TV until all hours. They were also impressed with the big screen TV. I think my brother-in-law referred to it as his dream home and took pictures of the whole house.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We spent a week in this beautiful house on the Kenai River. There was plenty of room for our group, we caught a lot of fish which we stored in the fish freezer, and enjoyed the wonderful accommodations. Everything was perfect!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers.

When someone dreams of visiting Alaska for the first time the images that go through the mind are viewed from your balcony as well as the drive from Anchorage to Soldotna on a sunny day! Thanks so much for the use of your home for these past ten days. Your cabin made for an extremely comfortable base to explore the Kenai Peninsula.Did you find this review helpful? Owner info
Year Purchased: 2009
About the owner: David is a retired juvenile justice officer and a self-employed business owner. He has lived in Alaska since graduating from high school in 1976. Jane is a fisheries biologist with the federal government. She moved here in 1994 after visiting on vacation. Jane also sells Alaska Native arts and crafts and Alaska art.
Why the Owner Chose Soldotna:
Jane has owned a Kenai river view cabin in Funny River since 1996. David and Jane upgraded to this beautiful home ON the Kenai River in Winter 2009. We stay here for the second two weeks of July every year.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Moose in the yard, eagles overhead, ducks and gulls swooping in on small fish. The fishing for king salmon, red salmon, silver salmon, and rainbow trout is FANTASTIC! The house is at the end of a road with only a half dozen houses - very quiet. You can hear the river flow from the sunny deck.
