Why the Owner Chose Green Lake
After traveling extensively and living in many of Seattle’s distinctive neighborhoods over the last 44 years, our family has settled in Greenlake where easy access to the entire city and superb recreational opportunities make this a truly ideal location. Virtually everything a person(s) on vacation or conducting business could need is readily available. With its early 20th century character, spaciousness, unique architectural layout, and secluded patio/garden area, Greenlakehouse, is a beautiful oasis in a cosmopolitan setting. Its excellent views of and proximity to the lake provide us a vantage point from which to enjoy the year round changing of the seasons.
The Unique Benefits of this House
For families with young children -ages two and a half through five years- our special relationship with a long established nearby pre-school allows adults needing an afternoon of “down time” a chance to catch their breath and explore on their own. We are 25 minutes from Seatac International, 15 minutes from Safeco Field (Mariners), Qwest Field (Seahawks), Husky Stadium (UW football), 10 minutes from University of Washington, 10 minutes from Seattle Convention Center, and 15 minutes from downtown. Bus stop less than one block from front door.
