The setting is even better than I imagined. Just outside of town, but in a pastoral setting with big views and lots of space, next to a vineyard and horse pasture. We came with 4 adults and 4 teenagers. 3 of the teens slept on couches in the living room but it still was reasonably comfortable for our group. We spent most of our time at the house sitting on the deck watching hawks fly overhead. The owner is friendly and helpful but not intrusive.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Four of us stayed here recently on a trip to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Southern Oregon. The house was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with lovely mountain views from the windows (the view from the little dining area beside the kitchen is especially fine). The owner was gracious and nonintrusive. You can't walk into Ashland, but it's just a few minutes to downtown by car, and the country setting was serene and gorgeous. We LOVED our time here.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

Nicely appointed, clean, comfortable and pretty property surrounded by fields with views of mountains. Nice and quiet yet close to Ashland. Very nice and helpful landlords. Loved eating on the deck outside, enjoying the breeze and birds. Only one shower, although two bathrooms. Recommend!

Great summer vacation, 5 mins from town and very close to the Shakespeare festival. The house was extremely comfortable, a home away from home. Very dog friendly, lots of space and walking areas, surrounded by amazing views. Great location for day trips such as Crater Lake. Highly recommend this rental.
