This is a charming and completely renovated cottage in the Fairways Community of SandestinGolf and Beach Resort. Our family has owned this house for 23 years, so we knew exactly what changes would make it perfect for a vacation rental! We have painted, changed, relit and remodeled to make it just right for your family's vacation. It is light and open and inviting. The kitchen and three baths are all totally renovated with custom granite counter tops and tile floors. handicapped accessible shower. My mom is 88,and we needed to make it comfortable for her too! There is a new breakfast bar connecting the kitchen and dining nook. All of the cabinets and pantry are brand new. The laundry room is now in a totally separate area, so the noise won't disturb your movie or family game in the den or on the sun porch.
We are on the bayside of the resort close to the Marina and Baytowne Wharf. The bayside pool and Sandestin Spa and workout facility are also an easy bike ride away. The cottage is in a quiet section of the resort across the street from the golf course and a stone's throw from one of the many owner pools. Its a perfect area for biking, walking or roller blading. All 4 of our children caught their first fish by fishing off the dock in the pond in our back yard. You are close enough to see fireworks on the beach at 9:30 and again on the bay at 10:00! We have also loved being close to the Silver Sands outlet mall (they say it's the biggest designer outlet mall in the south east). The savings are unbelievable and so are the shops!
Let's not forget the BEACH! Whether you're at Sandestin, Santa Rosa or one of the nearby state parks the sand really is that sugar white soft stuff one sees in the ads. Its made for walking or relaxing with a good book. The gulf stays warm most of the year, but if its too cold for wind sailing or swimming then you can go golfing or fishing-off the dock, off a pier, in the bay or deep sea fishing out in the gulf. As our family says, "you'd better hurry up to have fun!".

- Handicapped Accessible (may have limitations) : the front fish bedroom has step in shower-4"step , side rails, wide enough for a shower seat if necessary and hand held shower available. My 90 year old mother finds it quite comfortable.

Ofcourse our owners pool is within walking distance to our home.Or you can bike to one of the community pools available. On the occasional rainy day, we have games in the den and books to peruse until you are ready to go again.

My in laws bought this cottage when I was pregnant with our first child. We have vacationed here for 23 years. All of the recent renovations were to done to make the house just perfect for our family or yours!!
The Unique Benefits at this House
The beds in the "fish" bedroom can be made into 2 twins or a king bed. A large pullout sofabed is in the sunroom downstairs for extra guests. Upstairs in the master suite, a pullout loveseat bed gives parents an option to keep a smaller child upstairs with them and still have privacy.

we had an amazing time at grace cottage. the fishing is great just outside the back door on the wonderful deck in pond. the house was very cheerful and had good vibes from years of (i'm sure) great family memories. we even made some of our own! there was plenty of seating, and all very comfortable--especially the sofa in front of the large t.v. in sunroom. we all piled on there and vegged- out late at nite. the rooms are spread out each with its own bathroom so it made lots of privacy even amongest a large gathering. the cottage is stocked with lots of board games and dvds. the house was recently renovated and you could tell from all of the crisp furnishings and new amenties. you will not be disappointed with this one!! we were very comfortable there, and enjoyed it immensely!!!! sorry our week had to come to and end. the ramsey's (owners) are a wonderful family, and will do anything and everything to make sure you feel at home. p.s. use live worms for fishing...the bass and perch eat 'um up! angel, morgan and gang

Hopefully the new stairs will be add easier access to the dock and sturdier furniture. I've also tried to continue to make it the cutest, coziest place I can. WE can hardly wait to hear what you think, and this time it won't take me a year to respond! ps we do the same family time snuggle in the sunroom..
