Our recently updated cabin provides a unique getaway spot. It is set on top of a ridge, and has splendid views of the surrounding Superior National Forest. Within a 10 minute drive from our cabin you can reach 6 Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) access points, 5 USFS Boat launches, and several hiking trails. Plenty of Forest Service roads and trails for walking and hunting access.
Snowshoeing and cross country skiing opportunities are right out the front door as well as in the surrounding area.
The cabin has electricity and electric baseboard heating, an oven/stove fueled with propane, and has no running water. We'll supply 5 gal of drinking water and 10 gal of wash water. You can refill additional water spring, summer, and fall from the local spring fed trout lake 5 minutes away. In the winter, there's always plenty of snow just outside the door to boil up.
We have a great outdoor fire ring with seating and a hiking trail that circles our 10 acre parcel. One of the cutest outhouses you'll ever see is on the property, about 100 ft away from the cabin.
We leave 2 canoes at the cabin in the summer, you're welcome to use them during your stay.
