Updated condo. This condo boasts granite countertops, hot water on demand, FREE long distance calling North America only, two new LCD TVs and high-speed internet wireless. New for 2011/2012 season, two new TVs, wardrobe, dresser, desk and decor.
The condo is in building C on the second floor of a two story complex called Barefoot Beach Resort.
Little traffic passing in front of unit. It is half-way between the pool and the Gulf beach access. Parking is right below the unit.
This is the most quiet and private part of the complex.
Indian Shores is located between Clearwater Beach and St. Petersburg Beach. Easy distance between Tampa and St. Petersburg airports.
Of course you are interested in location. The location is amazing. One side you have the Gulf directly across the street on the other side you have the Intercoastal waters perfect for fishing and walking. Boaters will welcome the docks that are available right on the resort. The beach itself is sandy and endless, shallow enough for kids with plenty of shells to collect and wildlife to observe.
The condo is a one bedroom, one bathroom, sleeps 4 with a pull out queen couch/sofa. There is also an additional daybed (with a real twin mattress on it) in the Lania. Lania also includes a chest of drawers and a desk. Well-appointed kitchen with granite countertops and comes with full sized appliances, microwave, fridge with icemaker and stove. Coffee maker, tea kettle, toaster, blender are also included. Bakeware, pots and pans and all utensils and glassware are included. Beach chairs, kids toys, water toys are in the closet. Linens are provided except beach towels.
The newly carpeted bedroom has a queen size bed with two nightstands, ceiling fan, armoire, dresser, and an alarm clock and new LCD TV. French doors lead out of the bedroom into the sunroom/lanai area that catches the morning sun. Internet connection is in the sunroom.
The bathroom has a walk in shower with glass doors. Wall mounted hair-dryer. Plenty of storage space. Shower curtains have been provided to avoid injury. Please do not have small children play with the glass doors. Other items included are iron, ironing board, vacuum and cleaning supplies. Beach toys, chairs etc.
This is a self-catering unit. You are responsible for any other supplies you may require.
Laundry is coin operated and is located at the end of the walkway. You can get quarters at the front office, grocery store or local bank.
The condo is located next to pubs and several restaurants. Some notable ones include; Crabby Bills, Salt Rock Grill, The Lobster Pot. Take the Suncoast Trolley up and down the strip to the famous John's Pass Village or to Clearwater Beach. There are numerous activities for children as well such as Smugglers Cove MiniPut which is a short walk.
The pool is heated and overlooks the intercoastal waters. There are grills(gas Barbeques) around the resort and onsite Guest Services office that can assist you with any issues that may arise or answer any questions you may have. Please note that I do not use that front office, please contact my property manager with any concerns about the condo.
I am constantly adding items and improving the unit. Please feel free to update me on anything that needs replacing or is missing from the unit.

Why the Owner Chose Barefoot Beach Resort
We bought here because of the location. It has the best of both worlds. The ocean across the street and the intercoastal waters behind. The intercoastal provides an opportunity to view some of Florida's best sightings, such as the manatees. It is also a great place for people to fish.
I also love the fact that it is quiet. The beach does not have high traffic like Clearwater does. Walking on the beach in the am is rejuvenating. Yoga and Zumba are offered in the town hall next door so give it a try!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Many people say they want Gulf side which there is no doubt is beautiful. However there is more to see and do on the intercoastal side. For instance, at night the beach is dark but on the intercoastal side there are boats, dolphins, manatees and many other birds and fish even at night. If you are lucky to go around Christmas, there is even a boat parade where the boats go by all decked out in lights for a competition.
Where we are is truly one of the more quiet and peaceful areas in the complex which is something I value greatly when I am there.
Publix grocery store, Beales plus their outlet, Ross, Steinmart, Bank, Dollar Tree, Chinese Buffet, movie theatres. This mall has it all. If you like to shop you have to check out Steinmart. Very easy
Saturdays and Sundays. Parking $1.00 Great vegetables. Huge so bring walking shoes. Go early for best selection.

Hello and thank you for looking at our little piece of paradise. This is our escape from the winters of Canada and when we need to rejuvenate ourselves. I am a RN and my spouse is self-employed.
We hope that our paradise will be yours as well. We have 3 young boys and they love going to Florida. The pool, beach and wildlife provides for them something the city just can not. I simply love the ocean and sun.

3 of us stayed here in late April 2010. This one bedroom unit was perfect for my wife & I, and our 7 year old son. The condo was completely furnished and stocked with everything you could need - even pool and beach toys. The pool area is very nice with plenty of lounge chairs. The pool is heated so always warm enough. Gas BBQ's on the property make it easy to have a nice meal at home. Indian Shores is located in a less congested part of Gulf Boulevard, halfway between St. Pete Beach and Clearwater. There are tons of things to do and places to explore. I would highly recommend Barefoot Beach for a family beach holiday. p.s. Lori was very nice to deal with and provided lots of advice about the area (shopping, groceries etc.)
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children.
