We're directly next to the chairlift, ski-in/ski-out. Let the kids roam through the terrain park and wave to them as they come back up the lift right to your door! All runs in this area funnel to one lift that returns right outside our unit. A master bedroom with 2 twins and a tv/vcr, 2 queen beds in the loft, a murphy queen in the family room - all with new mattresses that leave you with plenty of sleeping options. Family room has new sofa,TV with DVD/VCR, and WI-FI. Kitchen was recently updated with all new appliances and new floor tile. After skiing/boarding, build a fire, soak in our hot tub, or enjoy the view of fellow skiers heading down for one last run.
Indianhead Mountain Resort is in the heart of Big Snow Country, a winter paradise that has the best downhill skiing, cross country trails and snowmobiling in the midwest blanketed with 200+ inches of snow every year. The main lodge is just around the corner with dining, Dudley's for apres ski and music, an indoor pool and a fitness center. Within 25 minutes drive are 3 other ski resorts for almost 1000 acres of skiing options. Snowmobile trails start 100 feet from your door.

Why the Owner Chose Wakefield
As far as midwestern skiing goes, Indianhead has been our personal favorite for 30+ years. We started skiing here as kids and now take our kids here. It's got a little bit of everything and the run layout works well for families - you can turn the kids loose here and not worry about it. The snow is as plentiful and good as any resort out west. 200+ inches each and every year.
