Each bedroom has its own special theme and each of the 3 King Bedrooms have long range mountain views. The upstairs 'Teddy Bear' Master Suite has a Jacuzzi & separate shower and there are doors leading to the upstairs deck. The downstairs King Master Suite 'Gone Fishin' also has a Jacuzzi and the other King is a four Poster Mountain theme bedroom with sliders to the lower deck. Each bedroom is special in its own right and each have a TV and DVD or VCR.
The home is located on a large private lot at 4200' elevation on Appalachian Ski Mountain midway between Blowing Rock & Boone. This home is close to area attractions including Grandfather MT, Linville Falls, Tweetzie Railroad, skiing, hiking, golf, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, biking, boating, & canoeing.
If your pleasures are more leisurely stroll the beautiful areas, pamper yourself at the West Glow Spa, take in an art show in the park or enjoy a theatrical performance. Shop on Blowing Rock's Main Street or the Tanger's Outlet Mall. What a great weekend in the mountains. There were 11 of us celebrating my 50th birthday and the house was perfect. I was most impressed with the cleanliness of it and it was well equipped for the weekend. Small soaps, dish soap, T.P., all were provided in case we forgot a necessity. The floor plan was great for such a large group, a nice open kitchen and living room that provided plenty of room for disco dancing!!! Most of the bedrooms were downstairs for quiet and privacy. We entertained ourselves in Blowing Rock with a scavenger hunt and then back to the house for more fun. Just a terrific time and perfect house. Thanks!
