A large 3 level 2600 square feet Cabin with a walk out basement down to a sandy beach. Wasa Lake is the warmest lake in the Kootenays. It is located at the base of the Rocky Mountains and the Purcell Range is located across the lake. This area is part of an area called the Rocky Mountain Trench that continues down to California.
A gradual shallow beach to deeper waters makes it very safe for young infants to enjoy the beach and the water. A paddle boat is provided. There is an outdoor warm shower. Fire pit on the beach.
Less than 30 minutes away to Cranbrook and Kimberley which has fabulous skiing in the winter. Fort Steele a heritage park is only 10 minutes away. Numerous championship courses are nearby as well as great fishing in numerous lakes, streams and the Kootenay River. There are numerous areas to go mountain biking, kayaking and even quading.
The cabin has 3 bedrooms and a large loft. There are 2 bathrooms with a jetted jacuzzi tub on the main level. The lower level bathroom has a shower. There is a sauna room and pool table.
There is a fireplace on the main level and a wood burning stove on the lower level.

Why the Owner Chose Cranbrook
A great location that is quieter than than the nearby Invermere and Fernie area. There is more of a local feeling at this lake where people are more down to earth and friendly. Spectacular Mountain views and opportunities for numerous outdoor activities exist here.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
Summer is great because the temperature is hot and the nearby lake is quite refreshing. Golfing is close by if I want to as well as numerous other outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking and quading I enjoy. Skiing at Kimberly is one of the best kept secrets as far as a great ski area is concerned. Shopping is less than 30 minutes away.
