- Gregory Town has a music scene. Now famous Elvina's Bar located at the top of the hill from Cove House, has what the natives call a "Rake n' Scrape" two nights a week. Really it's an open mike night but you never know who will show up. Musicians from all over the Island show up. Singer-song writer Lenny Kravitz has a studio in Gregory Town and members of his band rock the house when they are on the Island. Into music? Bring your instrument and join in!

My wife, Donna and I along with our two adult children spend as much time in Gregory Town as possible. We enjoy surfing, diving and fishing. Every day is an adventure. But most of all we love the healthy laid back Island life. The Bahamian people make each trip special. The are truly some of the most friendly people in the world. Why the Owner Chose Gregory Town
Cove House has been my family's adventure headquarters ever since my Father purchased this home in 1973. Originally a tomato cannery then one of the Islands only dry goods store then destroyed by Hurricane Betsy in the 1960's. My Father and Mother found this gem on their second vacation to Eleuthera. They always joked about finding a fixer upper. But when they took one look at this classic example of turn of the century Bahamian architecture laying in ruin beside this picturesque cove it's quiet waters shimmering they knew this was the place they had always been looking for. Thus began my family's project that has lasted more than three decades.
