My husband and I just returned from Puerto Rico. We stayed in this cute little condo. The condo was really clean and well stocked with anything we needed. Chimmy "Rosa" is absolutely amazing. My husband has some disibilities, therefore, we had some special requests and she was awesome. Anything we needed she took care for us. It was just some small things, but the little things is what really matters. I can not say enough about how helpful she was. We got our deposit back the day we left, which was nice. The condo itself is on the lower end of Isla Verde Beach. Which is nice cause the beach there is not crowed at all. It is almost private, which we enjoyed. A beautiful walk down the beach and you get to the clubs and larger hotel chains and casinos. If you would like to buy some stuff on the beach there is a lady there named Iris. Her stuff is awesome and priced right. Thank you Chimmey for all you done for us, we appreciate it lots.

As soon as we arrived back home, I told my family members that we would be returning to PR and renting this condo! My boyfriend and I had an amazing spring break and we were not at all disappointed in this condo. Everything was just as pictured and described; you are literally right on the beach, condo was very clean and cute, within a safe neighborhood, and food is a short distance away. Rosa was very nice to work with and I received our deposit within a week of returning home. I can't wait to return!

We stayed at this rental last year, and our return alone tells you how much we enjoyed it both times! It was just as clean and comfortable as the first time. I did notice that the building itself seemed to have been updated. The owners were easy to deal with, I received our deposit the day we flew back to the States, and it was a great central location for our adventures. I would recommend eating at El Estribo on isla verde ave or ceviche house, also on isla verde ave.

My husband and I stayed at the Isla Verde studio for three weeks in February and had a lovely, lovely time. The studio was spotless when we arrived and it has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The tiny kitchenette was quite functional and we were able cook a few meals there, especially since there is a supermarket right across the street. The microwave is a bit ancient so it takes a little while to heat up but everything else worked well. The futon was very comfortable and, though the studio does not directly overlook the ocean, the side windows have a glorious view of the beach and I was able to set up a table with my laptop and work while feasting on the sight of the bluest ocean. The studio is at walking distance to so many amenities it was perfectly convenient. There's a Starbucks about a mile's walk (which we preferred to do in the mornings on the beach), Faccio Pizza is also at walking distance, and the Peruvian restaurant across the street is delicious. It is off a main road so on Fridays and Saturdays we turned on the AC to drown out the weekend noise at night but, otherwise, we didn't need the AC at all since the apartment gets a great ocean breeze. We were able to take the bus to Old San Juan and my husband rented a scooter to go into the rain forest at a place right on the same avenue. We also rented a car for a few days at a nearby car rental place, which was also wonderfully convenient. The nearby Panaderia España, which we could access through a bridge, is a must see. The building is very safe and the residents are very friendly. Rosa and Jimmy were always helpful and answered all our questions and Marino was also absolutely great and helped us with our baggage as we were leaving. We had just the best of times and we definitely hope to stay there again in the future. The price and the owner's care makes this unbeatable. We will never stay at a hotel in Puerto Rico again. I highly recommend it!

The pictures of this condo just do not to it any justice! It is comfortable and cozy and extremely safe feeling. They provided almost everything we really needed. It is directly across from a Super Max which was super convenient for my boyfriend and I because we were travelling on a budget and did not want to go out to eat every night. The condo is also close to bus stops. The beach is absolutely breathtaking - we did not need the air conditioner for most of our stay because of the wonderful breeze. Rosa and James were very friendly and really helped us through the renting process (as we had not done it before). We hope to go back next year - I can't wait to see Puerto Rico again!

My husband and I had a wonderful time in Puerto Rico last month, and one of the best aspects of it was getting to spend time with lots of the super-friendly locals who live in the Isla Verde Towers. Staying in this condo, rather than in a touristy hotel down the beach, allowed us to get to know other folks in the building, who warmly welcomed us to celebrate the new year and Three Kings' Day at a neighborhood party, complete with delicious food and drink. We loved it! Although the condo is directly on the beach and you can easily swim and lie on the sand just behind the building, you do have to walk a ways east (up to a mile) to get to the really big beaches with the usual amenities (food, drinks, beach chairs, water sports, etc.), if that's what you're looking for. Also, although the condo suited our needs (as two laid-back twenty-somethings), it might not be the most comfortable for everyone, as the sound of traffic from the nearby street was pretty loud, and there are only slightly-lumpy futons on which to sleep. Still, totally worth it for us. Having the SuperMax grocery store so close (right across the street!) was great and the kitchen is decent (though it could use a few more knives, cutting boards, and counter space, for real cooking). We also discovered a great bakery, Panaderia Espana, just a half-mile to the east, and across the big highway, from the condo. Try their pan de agua! All in all, a great stay for young folks looking for an authentic Puerto Rican experience on a beautiful beach!

This is a place that my husband and I have used 3-5 times a year for the past 6 years. The condo is so well upkept compared to others that we have tried in the Isla Verde area. All linens are changed out and I have never had a problem with anything. We have just been here the past week and the air conditioning and everything else has been perfect as it has been the past 6 years. We always ask for this condo because of the wonderful location (right on the beach) and the wonderful owner person that we deal with. It truly is within a few minutes of any local or historical location for San Juan and the Old San Juan and easy access via reasonable tours to the rain forest, other beaches, caves or whatever. If I had a choice this is a place I would definately consider because you can not get this quality with all VRBO listings for the price.

Place was just like the pictures and for the price it served its purpose. The neighboring buildings are close so if you want privacy you have to keep the shades down. This place gives you more of a "living in puertorrico" type of feel. It is not in a tourist side but it is about a 15 min walk to the big chain hotels. The supermarket across the street was great and also Mamita's restaurant was great with the best service ever. Taxis charge pretty much $20 for a short ride to most places. Lastly make sure the AC is working because during our stay it was making a really loud noise and it just didn't allow us to watch t.v. or carry a conversation or sleep so we had to endure the heat and turn it off Also make sure they turn on the hot water for you or you will be showering with cold water. Average place but saved money for other things during our stay. Oh and Marino met us on time and Rosa and Jimmy were easy to reach
Owner response:Once-in-awhile, even though you always try your best, things go wrong in the rental business. A new air conditioner has been installed. We will make sure that the water heater is securely connected for future visitors.

We had a spectacular vacation in Puerto Rico and couldn't have asked for anything better. This rental is perfectly located on the island and within the community of Isla Verde. We were able to take the bus to old San Juan (only $.75, but make sure to have exact change!) and easily found a taxi to take us to el yunke rainforest where we hiked to the very top for a spectacular view. Obviously the main attraction though is right outside your door...a fantastic beach, great restaurants and some very ritzy casinos. The El San Juan Hotel and Casino, Intercontinental and Ritz Carlton were all short walks down the beach. Great night scene and really helpful neighbors. Oh and a grocery right across the street! Rosa and Jimmy were VERY helpful with our arrival and with recommendations during our stay. For the price, this unit cannot be beat. 4 people can sleep, eat and live comfortably in this rental and with all the money you save by avoiding a chain hotel you’ll be able to do so much more!

My boyfriend and I stayed here in February of 2011. It could not have been better- I've been to Costa Rica, Panama, Europe, and other Carribean islands, but this was by far the best vacation I have had. The property was a hidden treasure. The apartment was exactly as described; there were clean linens, beach chairs, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and a nice kitchen. The place was spotless as well. There is a supermarket across the street so we were able to make many of our own meals, or walk just down the street to find many great places to eat. We rented a car and this was a great central location. This apartment is not quite in the hotel district of Isla Verde, which I liked because it felt less touristy, but we were still in paradise. The beach is literally right outside and we found this section of beach much less busy than the hotel beaches farther down. I cannot recommend this property enough. For the price, it is a steal, and I would rather stay here than at a fancy (and more expensive) hotel. The rental process was simple and we received our deposit back within a few days of our departure. Rosa and Jimmy were so understanding and accommodating when our flight was late. Even other tenants in the building were friendly and helped us out. There is no reason to pay for a hotel if this apartment has availability. When we return to Puerto Rico (and we are already talking about it), renting an apartment (this apartment!) will be the only way to go. Feel free to comment on this post with any questions, I would be happy to offer more insight on this wonderful property!

Staying at Isla Verde Towers was a pleasant experience, apt rental met all expectations, clean, good location across the street from Grande supermarket was a plus, public bus transportation at the corner, easy access to beach and a 10 min walk to the ESPANA bakery for great cafe con leche. The rental process (contract, apt keys)was simple and w/o problems.

Isla Verde Tower was the greatest experience and better than we could have ever asked for. The check in process was easy and the apartment was spotless upon arrival. The pictures are true to the apartment. It is so colorful and cheery and perfect for relaxing in between going to the beach and town. The kitchen and bathroom were fully equipt and had everything we needed and even other little things we didn't expect! The view is great and you get a great breeze while you fall asleep to the waves crashing! Very convenient to the bus line and right across from the grocery store, so the location couldn't be better! Also, Chimmy was great at staying in touch over email and keeping us informed on every step of the rental process! Would rent again in a heartbeat and had a wonderful experience!

Booking a studio over the internet was intimidating, but I am glad I did this! My stay in this beautiful, maintained, ocean view, studio was worth every dollar! Chimmy is simply the ultimate host! I was so impressed with this Studio; all amenities and more. A great location in Isla Verde, with pool, gym, FREE PARKING!!!- next to the beautiful El San Juan Casino, beach access, right out the back door! The price is - well you can't beat it! I was so, so, so thankful that I gave this woman a gift!
Owner response:I appreciate very much this comment, however I found that this one specifically corresponds my other property, vrbo 171018. I apologize for any misunderstandings in regards with exact location or amenities please refer to the information on the ad. Thank you!

My girlfriend and I visited San Juan the end of May. We had a superb time! I was stationed in San Juan for 2 years in the early 90's so I knew my way around. I highly recommend staying at the ESJ as it is the 'best of both worlds' with regards to getting out and about to visit all destinations on the island. Chimmy treated me very well and we loved the condo we stayed in.

Visited Puerto Rico 4/24 - 4/28/08. Had a wonderful time!!! Rosa Chimmy)was very nice and an excellent communicator. As promised, we received the keys and remote to the gate on time. The facilities are very secure and close to shopping and the busline. The condo had everything as stated in the ad. We thoroughly enjoyed having direct access to the beach and all the necessary equipment. The only thing needed was a ceiling fan. It would help move the air around and cutdown on air conditioning for the owners. Thanks Chimmy and Jimmy for everything! Oh, for excellent seafood, try Atlantica and for very good Puerto Rican food try Levi. When leaving the condo, make a right heading towards San Juan, both restaurants are in walking distance on Isla Verde Avenue.

My experience at the Isla Verde Condo was surperb! I had a fatantic time. Jimmy and Marino was waiting for me to check-in and the transition was smooth. They also provide you with a great deal of information so you can get around. The condo is located right on the beach. The first time i walked on the beach it was breath taking-literally! You're also right across the street from a 24 hour Supermarket which is helpful. Not to mention, the ton of residents that are up and down the street. For a good but inexpensive meal, check out Mi casita. I would definitely recommend this place or working with Jimmy and Chimmy. Great experience, thanks guys!

The condo was great. and the pictures definitely do this place no justice. Perfect for a couple or small family. We had a great time. The view is great, and there is nothing better than walking out of the back door right onto the beach. Great access to rest of the area. Right on the main strip of Isla Verde. walk outside the bus is right there and there are always taxis to take you where u want to go. Everything you need in in the room. I will and have already recommended to friends and family and will definitely look to staying here again in the near future.

This apartment is exactly as described and an excellent choice for an extended stay. If you rent a car you'll have easy access to the major roads leading all over the island. (There are car rentals within walking distance.) If you don't rent, there's a bus into town about every 10-20 minutes (it takes 40 minutes to get to Old San Juan if you avoid rush hour). If you want to stay put, you can spend your hours on the beautiful beaches. A great spot for us "do-it-yourself" vacationers. (For a cheap Sunday breakfast walk to the end of Isla Verde Beach to the Empress Hotel. The covered deck hangs over the water and the waitress from Brooklyn will let you linger over coffee. It doesn't get any better.)

The place is very nice and clean and really worth for the price. If you are planning to drive, the highway is in front of the building, which will make it easy to go to different places. It is very close to all the hotels. I would stay there again if I go back.

Excellent place to spend your vacations! We stood for two weeks. My other half and I love this place! We travel to the island every year and have stood in some of Puerto Rico’s best hotels (like El Condado Plaza), and never had accommodations such as in Isla Verde Towers. Chimmy, the owner was courteous; she treated us with such kindness, made us feel like we knew her for a long time. The apartment is so colorful and vibrant really expressing the island’s blissful atmosphere. It has everything and I really mean EVERYTHING, you need, from dishes (service for four), blender, coffee pot, toaster, pots & pans, plastic food containers, cooking utensils, paper towels and napkins to beach equipment! It also has two very comfortable futons and dinning furniture. The unit is situated on the 7th floor and there is a very lovely breeze, particularly in the evenings. From the window you have the magnificent view of Isla Verde Beach and the Condado’s Bay. The beach is right downstairs and there are tables with benches under palm trees where you can have a picnic or just hang out, all in a private facility. And if you just want to stay-in and relax Chimmy also provided some best selling novels, popular DVDs and VHS.The building is well kept by Mr. Javier who was so diligent and courteous to us! There are well maintained laundry amenities on the ground floor. Parking lot is private and secure.Public transportation is very accessible. The A5 bus stops in front of the building and travels west to beautiful Old San Juan, and east to Iturregui terminal where connections to other locations (like the well know plaza Las Americas Mall). Also there is a near entrance to the highway in case you prefer to drive around the island. There are plentiful restaurants within walking distance. We dined at Mi Casita (my personal favorite), Cafe El Taquito, Lin's, Lupi's, Ponderosa Steak House, and Denny's. There are many other fast-food restaurants, such as The Outback, Pizza Hut and Wendy's just to name a few. But if you don’t feel like to eat out; there is also the Grande Supermarket which is directly across the street and conveniently open 24 hours where you can find everything you will want or need. Local pubs and dance clubs are near by too. We went to our favorites Club Babylon in El San Juan Hotel and Casino and Club Monaco located in Casa de Playa Beach Hotel. Marino, the apartment caretaker was on time with key delivery and pick up. He even offered to

KUDOS to Chimmy, for her graciousness . When my sister Hilda and I arrived on July 15, 2006, we were met by Chimmy , she was helpful and attentive and made us feel compfortable. right away. We found the accomadations comfortable and well appointed. We were impressed by the availability of beach equipment, they were the top of the line. The building was well kept , the service provided by Javier, the custodian was exemplarary . The availability of El Grande supermarket was super. Good security, the availability of the parking was great. The beach was private and most enjoyable. We had come for a family wedding and this was just the right place for us. A final vote for the place came from my relative that came to pick us up. they liked it much better than the other places we had stayed at. for example ESJ Towers. you can't beat that endorsement. Thanks againfor a great vacation. we will return.

I stayed at this unit from Aug 19 until the 23rd, and can say without a doubt that it was well worth the money. The pictures posted on the web site do not truly show how well furnished this studio is. The unit has everything you would need for an enjoyable vacation, including beach towels, chairs, radio,etc.. The owner, Chimmy, is very helpful and kind. The unit is also directly across the street from a 24 hour supermarket, which comes in handy if you plan to use the kitchen, which has everything you would need to prepare a meal.

We were absolutely delighted with this little condo. The pictures do not do it justice! The whole place is bright, airy, and clean, and we were amazed by the owner's kindness and eye for detail. Everything we needed and more was included, from a fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, etc, to color coordinated beach chairs and towels. Colorful art pieces from the Dominican Republic grace the walls, some of the latest bestselling books, including a good selection of Grisham's stories, fill the bookshelf. A number of dvds are also available. This unit has an air conditioner, but you won't need to use it. The sea breezes keep everything cool, and the sound of the surf is a delightful way to fall asleep. You cannot go wrong with this rental. The place is beautiful, the view breathtaking, the cost far less than it's worth, and the owners are helpful, kind, and honest.

First I'd like to say how helpful and accommodating the owners were for us. We spent the month of February in the studio unit at Isla Verde Towers, and found the apartment to be very well equipped, with plenty of bed linens, towels, clothes hangers and bathroom items. The kitchen had dishes and flatware service for four, an excellent blender, coffee pot, toaster, pots & pans, plastic food containers, cooking utensils, paper towels and napkins. Also provided are beach towels and two beach chairs. There are well maintained laundry facilities on the ground floor. You have only to walk through the building parking lot, and a locking gate to be on the mile-long Carolina Beach. We enjoyed the beach very much, and tried a few different spots within a comfortable walk of the unit. The beach was combed every or every other day to keep it clean of tidal wash-up debris, and to keep the sand smooth. We especially enjoyed the beach and spend many pleasant hours there. The unit is located on the 7th floor and there is a very pleasant breeze, especially in the evenings. We did not find it necessary to use the air conditioner at any time during our visit. The location of the building is excellent, in Isla Verde tourist section. There is very good bus transportation available, with stops right outside the building. The A5 bus goes west to Old San Juan, and east to Iturregui - where connections to other destinations may be made. There are numerous restaurants within comfortable walking distance.... we dined at Mi Casita, Lin's, El Alambique, Cafe El Taquito, Freddo's, Sonny's Place for Ribs, Lupi's, Ponderosa Steak House, Denny's and Wendy's, to name a few. There are many other fast-food restaurants, plus Pizza Hut, The Outback and Ruth's Chris Steak House within walking distance. Grande Supermarket is directly across the street, and it's a very good market - you can find almost everything you will want or need there. There is also a Pueblo supermarket about a mile and a half away. This was our first visit to Puerto Rico - the weather was very pleasant, sunny and warm every day, with very little rain. We enjoyed our stay very much and would like to return at some time in the future. Feel free to contact us if we can answer any specific questions about our stay and the area.

My father in law just loved the way it was decorated, simple but very nice with colors on the walls, nice clean floors and two very, very comfortable futons..( they feel like beds...awesome.!) Also the kitchen is equipped with everything!!! We bought worth of 6 days breakfast to prepare at the studio and believe me, is big savings!!! I will recomend this place to any of my friends or family. It has everything, beach towels, a little cooler, towels and linens,etc... If you want to save big $$$$ this is the place to stay, provided is 3 or 4 of you,is excelent value for your money. Is right on Isla Verde beach one of the most beautiful beaches in PR. My boyfriend and I are physicians in New York City and were feeling very stressed from our daily schedules. Our vacation to Puerto Rico was absolutely fantastic. Every morning we woke up and ran along the beach and went swimming in the beautiful ocean. Once you step out of the aparment complex you are on the beach. There is a twenty-four hour grocery directly across the street. The apartment is equipped with a kitchen. We prepared the majority of our meals and took lunch picnics to the beach with us. There are lovely restaurants close by that overlook the ocean. The apartment is lovely and very clean. I felt very safe walking along the ocean or the street at every hour. I would recommend for anyone who wants a nice relaxing break from their hectic lifestyle to stay here and enjoy the lovely people and lovely island of Puerto Rico.

I loved this place from the minute I walked into it and saw the beautiful view. You can see the ocean while you are sitting at the dining room table. The two best things about the apartment are the privacy of the beach during the week, and the newness and cleanliness of the place. Having all of the restaurants there are nearby was also great.
