Year Purchased: 2008
We moved to this property two years ago after selling our loft in Manhattan. When we first stumbled on this property as a rental we felt blessed--it was the perfect retreat to nature we were looking for. At the time we didn't intend to purchase it, but fell in love with the peace and natural beauty of the place. I am a photographer specializing in food and interiors so I was thrilled to find such a home and property with so much visual appeal. As an artist, I am particularly sensitive to my surroundings, so I am continually beautifying the home and property. I am happy to have the opportunity to share the beauty with guests who have a discriminating eye as well.

I love the fact that it is easily accessible from the city by train or car, the Hudson Valley has the most beautiful countryside combined with lots of culture, and great restaurants.
The Unique Benefits of this House
There is nothing like waking up to the stunning views out every window of the house. Coffee on the front porch overlooking the lake and/or mountains in the distance, or down on the dock by the pond is a great way to start the day.
